The slats of the bridge are wide enough that people can easily lose their shoes in them. This poor dog was freaking out--her feet were slipping and she was hunkered down, moving slow as could be. I don't know what her owners were thinking, trying to make her cross the bridge with them.
This poor Swan was trying to swim in the algae, it was very upsetting to see, somebody should be a shamed of themselves.
My stay in Queenstown was marred by shoddy service at the hotel. I was given an inferior room to the one that I had prepaid. When I realised that there was a mistake I was stuffed around for most of my only full day in Queenstown getting it sorted out. I was given a breakfast pack with an insane amount of little packets of jam, butter etc, but it took a month and multiple emails for me to be refunded the cost difference of the room where I spent my first night.
