One of my first days in Beijing, a poor little child grabbed me in my jeans.

On our way to Namur, we stopped to do the Mur de Huy, a tough old climb known from the Spring Classics. This was the state the bike was in just before we went up.

There is a little rhyme that my mom used to quote to me in my childhood. Translated, it goes something like that:

Kitty is crying in the hall,

She has this woe -

Cruel people won't let poor kitty

Get away with stealing sausages.

We call this face of Chime "Cruel People Won't Let Kitty..."

Thanks to a splinter that lodged itself in his paw and quickly got infected, he's recovering from a doctors visit and we're recovering from the bill. Poor puppy!

Lana was sick at the party.....good thing Aunt Ashlie was there to take care of her.

This one was the worst though, this guy would have been about a metre long, and he was in a tank that was maybe 3m square. It was awful, you could tell the poor thing was going crazy. he was hiding under that corrugated thing they had covering part of the tank ("shelter" from the sun, i suppose, but in the sun that water would get SO hot in the middle of the day) and he came out when i started sympathising with him in a soft voice (*cough*... as you do...) and was just swimming up and down one end looking so unhappy. It made me feel sad :(

Katie has had a sty on her lower eyelid for a while. It was still smallish at her last checkup but since it got a little bigger, D took her in yesterday. The vet decided to remove it today. He called & said she did great and D is heading to get her. She'll have 3 stitches though & they're sending it to the lab to make sure it's not a melanoma. Please keep sending positive vibes for our Katie girl.

Thanksgiving kickback was at Chris' house this year. We ate, played the Wii, and just chilled until everyone had to go home. Got a few shots in.
