St Michael's at Stanton is a most attractive Cotswold church, in detail mostly 14th & 15th century Perpendicular but in origin much earlier, as witnessed by the Norman arcade on the north side of the nave. The building has been restored, but fortunately this involved the addition of a fine rood screen and reredos by Sir Ninian Comper which greatly enhance the interior.
There are some substantial remains of medieval stained glass in the east window, including two almost complete male saints. The font and pulpit are also 15th century pieces.
The church, like most in the Cotswold area, is normally kept open and welcoming for visitors.
He and Callie were fence fighting with the neighbor's dog (we are trying to get this in check, I swear!) and he ripped up his paw pad.
Thus, he suffers with an old sock and a rubber band.
Poor Heidi had to have ear surgery today. We've been taking her in for what seems like forever for chronic ear infections so they finally decided to put her under and look in deep inside. When they did they found her eardrum had disintegrated from being infected so many times! It makes me so sad. I feel awful even though I know we've been taking care of her. We've been giving her meds consistently when prescribed and have been taking her to the vet and following orders. Somehow I still feel guilty, though. They did say that her eardrum will grow back and hopefully she'll hear again. :-(
The closest I have been to a monkey, but I didn't feel an ounce of joy.
We felt so bad for these animals. Why they felt the need to chain these animals up in tiny cages at a strawberry festival is beyond me. We all talked about getting some bolt-cutters and setting these guys free. It really got to us, especially since it was a hot sunny day, and some of these animals had no water. Luckily, we were able to get some of our bottled water to a cat's water bowl. He jumped right up and drank, then began to cry for food. Hope the animals were at least fed that day.
Poor Paw cautiously keeps an eye out for Bison Bill (sharing the same meadow) as he limps around scratching for food.
A sad sight, beautiful old home going through phases of demolition (now fully complete). I passed this hose so much on Dominion Road Extension, admiring its large front window an extremely tidy appearance. This happening all over the city, in many cases to very nice existing homes making way for ugly new ones :(

This little yellow crowned kinglet was just sitting on the ground - he sat still long enough for me to take this with an iPhone. I hope he made it,,,
I spent all day Saturday in the Vet Hospital with little Crickie. She is feeling much better now that she is back home and recovering.
the Hospital opened in 1873 in Old Mill Street, Manchester. Prior to the NHS this hospital was approved for the treatment of venereal disease.
It was later renamed Ancoats Hospital . It now lies derelict in a region undergoing some transformation.
Loved the frowns on these "poor" gingerbread men! They were actually made this way. I thought they should have won for the humor!
He really wishes I'd leave the camera somewhere he could reach. Then there would be no more of these "flash" incidents while he's trying to nap.
A mouse that unfortunately drowned in a well at Tintagel castle. Maybe the invaders were trying to poison the defenders.
Tried a levitation shot, but the more i look at it the more it looks to me like im just a giant instead.
Really unhappy with this one, but i spent so much time and effort on it that i didn't want to not upload it.
First Levitation shot, executed poorly, maybe the next one will be better....it would also im sure help alot more if i had a tripod :(
Constructive criticism is always welcome, just be nice plz :)
His situation got worse again and is now kinda stable .. I had to force feed him with a injection and some puree the vet gave me yesterday when I came home in the evening and today in the morning :( He always felt better after force feeding even though he hated me doing it. Now he eats the puree and the baby food himself .. so I guess I don't have to force feed anymore.
I have no clue what he has :( he has stumbling around like he is dizzy .. always falling over while walking ... keep praying for my moomin :(
Ask for a chicken and the butcher takes one out, chops its head off, does stuff with the feathers, and gives it to you.
Every time my wife and I eat at this restaurant, they seat us underneath this huge stuffed moose head. I feel really sorry for this poor animal - the indignity of being stuffed in death, and then mouted on a wall. This time round, they've decorated the place for Halloween, and so the poor fellow has to put up with cobwebs and bats on top of everything else. He seems to have a noble look of longsuffering in his eye.

Ruby had a round of immunization shots the day before I took this picture. I looked over and saw her sitting on the sofa and I could tell she wasn't feeling well when I snapped this. The shots really hit her hard. No worries tho' -- she was back to her playful self the next day. SOOC - H.Zuiko 42mm 1:1.2
