I guess any compressed air used to clear the surface wasn't enough to sweep a pancaked anuran.
Just more practising with my macro lens, light box and broadview's extension tubes. This poor little guy was accidentally killed when one of the kids moved the skateboard ramp, severing his tail. At least he kept still inside my light box!
As if I don't have enough to do....now I have a 5day old calf to feed!! Poor thing was chased and attacked by dogs. Mum was nowhere to be seen so my hubby rescued it and bought it home. I hope he survives so I can take lots of photos!!

Looks like I found her crumpled and starting to bloat at the bottom of a cliff.
Well, I did, but she was just resting (or pinin' for the fjords).
...bottom of frame...just trying to carry its modest amount of fresh water back to the sea...keeps getting bent further and further south until finally stoppered up to form an incipient small lagoon. Later in the year, the Ocean quixotically starts to haul sand off the beach into the sea, the Creek opens its mouth which then migrates back northward to enter closer to where the 101 Highway Bridge crosses the stream bed.
