On the way home from the subway, I saw this Alf doll tied to the front of a truck. The funny thing is, the owners of the truck came running back, thinking I was the metermaid, come to ticket their truck.

Just more practising with my macro lens, light box and broadview's extension tubes. This poor little guy was accidentally killed when one of the kids moved the skateboard ramp, severing his tail. At least he kept still inside my light box!

No, this is not a well-done photo, yes, I find it hilarious that the squirrel looks like it just got slapped. No, the squirrel didn't get slapped!

The squirrel got friendly in the park, and thinking Kirstine had food, bit her thumb. When she squealed, the squirrel made to dart off!

Camilla is injured! It's a good thing we had a doctor around.

John Lennon does not need to be surrounded by Jeff Foxworthy, Twilight and the Jonas Brothers. >_<

Poor little guy was being chased by a dog from shore when I first spotted him. The dog then swam into the water after the beaver twice, but both times the beaver was able to dive under, not being harmed. Eventually the owner came and was able to call the dog away, and the beaver was able to go on shore and groom himself, peacefully.

Today was the annual Halloween Parade at the kids' school. Poor Sammy was having a tough time breathing with his "gas mask" on but he insisted on wearing it the whole time.

You know what would be awesome? If there were some way that when you were stuck in traffic - especially an unusual traffic jam - that they could communicate with you how big and/or how long the jam is. You know, like I know this would be expensive, but really big digital signs along the freeway would be awesome. Then someone at the DoT could just type in, "Fire at Osborne. Expect Delay" and we'd all know how far from the end of the jam we were.

Oh that's right, WE DO have that sort of system. It's just tied up reminding us to fasten our seatbelts.

A very poor quality video but it was taken through the scope on my iPhone

Buster has not been feeling well all day today. He has had some tummy upset, and is shivering from time to time...and just very sucky. My poor little boy.

We had rain all day yesterday, it didn't stop until just after 1630. I was okay, being indoors — I felt sorry for the rain soaked birds. I did get out there to replenish their food supplies.

I'd make that face too if the only thing I had to eat was a Whopper.
