This poor fellow came in for acute onset of a swollen face. We thought he had an insect bite reaction. He initially responded to treatment but the swelling then got worst. We discovered he actually had an infected salivary gland.
Came across a Lagoona at a local store that had been vandalized. Someone stole all her clothes with the exception of her shorts and shoes. They even took her jewelry and purse!
And her poor hair was sooo messy.
But they at least put a different shirt on her, preserving a bit of modesty/dignity?
Just more practising with my macro lens, light box and broadview's extension tubes. This poor little guy was accidentally killed when one of the kids moved the skateboard ramp, severing his tail. At least he kept still inside my light box!
No, this is not a well-done photo, yes, I find it hilarious that the squirrel looks like it just got slapped. No, the squirrel didn't get slapped!
The squirrel got friendly in the park, and thinking Kirstine had food, bit her thumb. When she squealed, the squirrel made to dart off!
Today was the annual Halloween Parade at the kids' school. Poor Sammy was having a tough time breathing with his "gas mask" on but he insisted on wearing it the whole time.
She wouldn't stop shaking the bag.
Poor Chuckles.

Green anole on the boardwalk at the Texas Chenier Plain National Wildlife Refuge Complex near Anahuac, Texas
Looks like I found her crumpled and starting to bloat at the bottom of a cliff.
Well, I did, but she was just resting (or pinin' for the fjords).
You have to feel sorry for this poor creature from the Mesozoic! He had to travel about 2 miles west to John Ball Park Zoo, hoping to get a nice winter's rest in the duck pond, and now the Zoo is closed for the winter and he had to be taken out of the water! Tisk, the life of a cold blooded Art Prize 6th place winner.
