Strangest lunch date ever. Ended up in a lab room with guinea pigs, cute ones like this guy, and fed him Cheerios. Under that lab coat, hair net, gloves and extra layers of protection I was professionally-dressed in my uncomfortable heels and black dress--but I covered it all up for a good reason. See, Mr. Guinea Pig is cute, and got spunk and takes awesome photos. Unfortunately for him he lives in a lab that does tuberculosis. I was whispering to him that I hoped he was in the "control" group and that if he didn't give me TB I would give him more Cheerios.

My dad found a robin's nest on the ground the other day. It's a very pretty nest, and had extremely bright blue eggs, but the poor things will never hatch... /:

My poor boy, had to have an op and all his beautiful fur shaved off the right side of his face. Turns out he had a grass seed embedded in his cheek! He is recovering well, bless him.

I found this unfortunate Greenshield bug in my garden the other day. That'll keep the Spider full for a while!

Poor Alfie is sick. He had been vomiting all day Monday and since he wasn't feeling any better Tuesday ( no eating or drinking), it was time for the vet. After he had been vomiting all day, he was in no mood for food or water.
The first trip was they gave him IV therapy since he was so dehydrated. They injected him with fluids right by his shoulder. They also gave him something for his nausea and diarrhea. 3 days later and he was still not 100% so I decided to take him in again. This time they gave him some antibiotics and another round of IV therapy since he was still anti fluids.
This time around, when he came out, this is what he looked like. I think they gave him tripled the amount from the first visit. I couldn't help but laugh. He looks like a hunchback. Poor little guy.
I'm hoping this will make him feel better so he can get back to his spunky self.

For TRP: Banana Violence
Maurice was just going for an afternoon stroll, but he didn't heed the clear warnings regarding bananas in the area. The result: Maurice becomes a stickman-lawn-jart and ends up with a split skull. So sad.
I pour this one out for the homies that ain't with us no more.
Just to let my friends know that Lynx has been hospitalised at the vets since friday morning, and dont think he will be out this weekend :(
he hadnt eaten for 3 days and was really poorly, so we took him up and they checked his temperature which was through the roof at 104 degrees, so they put him on a drip and metacam which fetched his temp down but is climbing back up today, xray is showing his front lobes on his lungs are misty which is concerning them, i miss him so much and its killing me without him,

Poor Lucky!
International Guitar Symposium Iserlohn 2009: Lucky K. (the dog) was half asleep in the room anywhere. Suddenly she heard her "Master's voice" -bringing out the melody of a piece of guitar-music more clearly by singing - and awoke. "Wow", she thought, " it's time for a dog biscuit" and run towards the direction of the voice. What happened?. The "girls" went on making music all the time. No dog biscuit. Poor Lucky!!!
The "girls" from the left: Prof. Dale Kavanagh and Emma Rush. For more information, please, have a look at the homepage of Dale and Emma.
