This was the last photo I took of our cat Poppy. We haven't seen him now for over 4 weeks. We've searched everywhere and looked in all his favourite haunts. He would often vanish for days on end, but this time I don't think he's coming back. Poppy was a stray wild cat we took in, never one to be smoothed or cwtched, though he was mellowing - we had him for nearly 14 years of his life. Goodnight boy :'(
don't think he ever forgave me for giving him a girls name :)
Loved the bills, and got a bit oddly nostalgic for Fairmount Park.
St. George Square in downtown Glasgow was converted to resemble Philadelphia for filming of Max Brooks's "World War Z".
In retrospect, an embarrassing rollerskating fall followed quickly by a +2EV flash right to the dark-adjusted eyes must make for a pretty bad day. :-(
This dear old gentleman looks like he is enjoying his afternoon nap, outside in the sunshine...not too hot today but quite windy..

The strangest place I have taken my boat. Through the arch at Poor Knights Islands, New Zealand. The arch is 90 feet tall and the water is 50 feet deep.
An affectionate stray cat who, we suspect, was born in the ruins of the old house. Like so many others that roam the roof tops of Querétaro he was eventually lost in a bad storm, probably falling into the street or into an empty house that he couldn't get out of.
This boy was taking the same pick up with us to 'Mandalay Hill' .. and he was cry because of my friend tried to play with him!.. Jeremy, you're so bad !

Whilst having a coffee at our local stately home coffee shop (as you do), I looked out of the window and there was a perfect impression of one poor bird that had flown straight into the window. You can't see the detail but even it's eye had left an impression! I think it may have been a pidgeon......with a headache.
*sigh* - yep, I was one of the poor suckers that bought one of these. And now that it appears a done-deal that blu-ray is taking the HD format of DVD's, I feel left in the cold and moronic, to be honest.
Soooooo...anyone want a lightly used HD DVD player and some movies? *lol
My poor, lonely duck Quacker. Since Jack died two weeks ago he's just been stting in the corner of the paito, bathing in his drinking water instead of the pool. I feel so bad for him. I'm raising two ducklings though, so in a few weeks he'll have a some new friends.
“Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio: a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.”
William Shakespeare
Poor little min. Not going anywhere for a while I think! Especially not after what happened last time I drove it in the snow!
Day 275 of 365 days (2nd year)
Both of Ocho's eyes got really red today. Looks like all of the blood vessels in her eyes burst. I took her to the vet to find out what would cause this. The vet said that the main reason is if a dog were to choke somehow. For example, if it were wearing a leash and fell off the deck and dangled for a bit. I explained to the vet that Fang always grabs Ocho's collar when fighting and drags Ocho around. The vet said that could definitely cause her blood vessels to pop. But to be on the safe side, I had the vet do some blood tests to find out if it could be caused by something else. I'm happy to say she is healthy.
The collars are coming off.
I was supposed to go to work tonight, but decided to stay home and watch her just to make sure.
Just an engine failure. To be exact, it's the compressor that broke down. It has no engine trouble ever. Really tough car! I love Volvo.
Matilda is calling Charlie for a little chat, but Charlie has forgotten her cell phone at home. Too bad, now they won't be able to talk to each other for the next couple of days.
This poor girl showed up at my door this evening suffering from a terribly bad hair day. I felt so sorry for her, so I gave her some candy to cheer her up.
Shot with a homemade 3 element 24 mm lens and a few gelled off-camera strobes.
Soccer or football in Europe, is one of the most popular sports in the world and is very famous in African countries. Almost every kid there plays it. Often, they don't have equipped fields or good quality balls in the streets but it doesn't seem to bother them because they have a lot of imagination and hand skills.
