Seniors. Good days & bad days. This was a very bad day. He has a bulging disk in his neck. Most days it's not a problem, but if he tweaks it just right, it's a big problem. He is on several meds and is getting acupuncture now. It is times like these that I look into his eyes & ask: Is it time?

As you can see, these guys were dressed as Heath Ledger's prescription medicine. Only old, cynical gay men could've ever thought that up.
Poor show from the fans leaving early, this is a massive result and you should stay. Its only 3pm or something on a nice Saturday
This photo was taken during our outreach program. They live in the mountains, they don't have enough food, no electricity. But still they have smiles on their faces.
Who are we to be sad?
I parked my trusty emerald green Kawasaki Z650 indoor in 2003 and never got the chance or money to take it out. After 17 years it sees the light of day and I've donated the bike to a Kawasaki dealer so he might get some parts from it or get it running.
I purchased this motorbike in 2002 and paid 550 euros for it. Had it checked for roadworthiness and got a licenseplate (120 euros). I think I've driven some 200 kilometers with it. Due to a dent in the tank it got rust in the tank, which in turn clogged the carburators. Fixing that is around 500 euros, coating the tank 150 euros and the get the carbs back up and running another 300 euros.
Thankfully the goggles were not for Sierra, but my sister's dog. We tried them on along with her new doggie booties. I think Sierra felt horrible!
Those who cannot afford to shell out large sums of cash are burried in simplier ways, or they are cremated and sealed in a small vault in a wall.
Look at that pitiful face! Ohhhh, the guilt.... how could I have ever thought that studying for a psych/mental health nursing exam could POSSIBLY be more important than playing fetch with the beloved blue toy??? Obviously, my priorities are completely screwed up!
Poor General William Hull, buried in East Parish Burying Ground, Newton MA. Although he served without blemish in the Revolution, in the War of 1812 he fell into ignominy by surrendering Detroit to the British. It seems perfidious Albion had hired Native Americans to make lots of noise and give the impression of great numbers. Hull was later court martialed for cowardice and sentenced to be shot, although President James Madison remitted the sentence.
It is now generally conceded that faulty communications and the general ill-preparedness of the American Army of the time were as much to blame for the surrender as any personal failings , and Hull spent the reminder of his life in Newton trying to salvage his reputation, with at least some success.
The irony of this picture is that the same couch was just down the street last week. It seems as though someone took it and threw it out again. Poor couch.
Standing on a display track at the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Brush tramcar 290 is owned by the Fleetwood Heritage Trust - who have pretty much failed in their duty to preserve this poor old tram; having left it out on the sea front in all weathers for over 2 years, and allowing an urban street artist to use some spray paint on the side to make this tram look like a piss-ridden underpass... since being painted, the underframe has started falling away and a window has been smashed - and now the thin layer of paint is fading away to reveal the diamond jubilee livery underneath.
