Daniela was sick and could hardly eat or drink for about one week... she couldn't open her mouth (or only under pain), so she also didn't speak during that time...
This was taken some minutes after she drank her first tea after this long time...
The guy we stayed with drives across town a few times each month, buys a big bag of groceries, and delivers it to (what he calls) "the poor family". He's been doing it for years.
The Poor Family lives on the side of a cliff in Mexico City in a one room shack. About 5 kids if I remember correctly. When we went by to drop off food, the mother was washing clothes and the kids were playing in the dirt and wondering around the streets at the top of the cliff.
Our host has picked this family to help as much as he can, but there are shacks like this all over the place just off the beaten path in Mexico City. Literally minutes from million dollar homes.
This cat with a safety collar (cone) was hanging out on a street corner next to a park bench in Medford, Massachusetts. It was pretty funny, I had to take a photograph. Coincidentally I took this photo on the day of my 29th birthday.
$180 worth. We didn't make it to the State Fair but witnessed this scene about the same time at the Poor Farm art space in Manawa.
...had to wait to get shorn in a place without food, that allowed them to air out, and stay dry. I rigged this shelter up. They faired alright, but started chewing my tree so I wrapped a towel around the base of it. It has been so wet here, as ewe can tell by the black earth.
While I'm happy with myself for finding notes of what I shot on a couple of trips to Colorado and Utah back in 2002, I sure wish I was a little more detailed.
Alas! I left her Barbie maryjanes on and they stained her feet! Will I ever stop inadvertently harming this poor girl?

IUPUI head basketball coach once again went without shoes for Samaritan's Feet to support a charity which collects shoes for poor children around the world. The January 14, 2010 game against Oral Roberts had both head coaches and most of the assistants going without shoes for the cause. The IUPUI Jaguars prevailed in overtime by a score of 90-87 over the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.
He's resting a lot, but startles easily. He's expected to make a full recovery. We'll get the biopsy results next week.
Indy has been coming to work with me this week, and the drugs usually make him more lackadaisical than usual. At one point I thought he was sound asleep so I left my office to get a drink from the break room down the hall. Less than a minute later I hear the sound of the e-collar hitting things and my co-workers giggling as they tried to herd him back into my office. He had gone looking for me and got lost under a conference table. Poor baby! I petted him until he went back to sleep.
I've tried letting him sleep without the collar, but he goes to lick his foot every time without fail, which is a no-no, so the collar stays on unless it is mealtime or he is sleeping in my lap. At least he is tolerant of the collar. I get dirty or confused looks from him, but he doesn't struggle when I put it on him.
I went to Homewood today and at the Woodcrest shops was this sad sight. Three C39-8's that Canadian National didn't want when they bought Savage Alberta railway last year. One dash 8 was in two pieces its frame was split in half,

" The Whigs, seizing on this political misstep, in 1840 presented their candidate William Henry Harrison as a simple frontier Indian fighter, living in a log cabin and drinking cider, in sharp contrast to an aristocratic champagne-sipping Van Buren.
Harrison was in fact a son of the Virginia planter aristocracy. He was born at Berkeley in 1773. He studied classics and history at Hampden-Sydney College, then began the study of medicine in Richmond.[1]

More than anything, this example of presidential campaign manipulation proves it has historically been about exploiting the people into a side based upon a game of political chess that "We the People" are not privy to. It's about power, or their illusory notions of power, prestige, legacy, and domination; all in the stead of the colonial empire. During campaigns politicians tread upon the minds of the people. George W. Bush employed almost verbatim the notions of George Orwell's "War is Peace" from the book 1984: "I just want you to know that when we talk about war, we're really talking about peace."[2] Moreover, even President Obama admitted that campaigns are about promises and not necessarily what the candidate intends to implement: "And you know, when you're campaigning, I think you're liberated to say things without thinking about, 'Okay, how am I gonna actually practically implement this'"[3]
The information is out there, and in this instance, so obvious that the WhiteHouse page for Harrison has no qualms about laying out the lies and manipulation of political campaigning. Even a brief search at the Library of Congress yields the campaign song, emblem, ribbon, and poster concocted by the Whig party to promote the lie for the people to consume. Is this what democracy looks like? Is mental and emotional exploitation into the cause of a candidate freedom? Why is it then regardless of the party in office, the rich get richer while the poor get poorer?[4]

This was our first Urbex Trip to France,
arrived in a poor town there was this awesome Building.
The Red Duck is not our Ride, viva le france.
We arrived at Sunday Morning, when the Sun rises we meet some French Urbexers and when we left the town we also see the rotten Ralwaystation with trees that have grown from the inside of the window.
The toll driveway was abandoned and closed as well
My mother-in-law hates this sculpture, but I meant it not to offend anyone. Just seemed like most people these days crucify themselves and don't need any help from others.
