PA_801 [20 points]

Nothing is as changeable as the wall in front of the house where Serge Gainsbourg lived. Space invader PA_801 has disappeared a few times but is always reactivated by the fanatical space invader fans. In 2009 this was space invader number 2147 in the world.

A photo especially taken and uploaded for the

Photograph taken at an altitude of Sixty metres at 07:53am on Thursday 8th May 2022, of a juvenile Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) and it's mother taking food from a garden off Chessington Avenue in Bexleyheath, Kent.

Several times the Vixen angrily put the youngster in it's place, and it cowered down, ears pinned back in full submissive mode until she allowed it to move again.

First flown with the Airbus test registration D-AVXB, this aircraft was delivered to the easyJet Airline Company as G-EZDX in early Jan-09.

It was transferred to easyJet Europe as OE-LQO in Feb-18. It was withdrawn from service in Mar-20 as a consequence of the COVID-19 Pandemic and initially stored at Berlin-Tegel, Germany.

It was ferried for short term storage to various points around Europe before being returned to the easyJet Airline Company as G-EZDX in Aug-20. Current, updated 23-Oct-25.

This is Battling Siki from Senegal, World Light Heavyweight Boxing Champion, with his sparring partner, Frenchman Eugene Stuber. Siki (real name Louis Mbarick Fall) was in Dublin to fight "Bold" Mike McTigue (aka "Methuselah") who hailed from Kilnamona, Co. Clare. The two men are pictured outside the Claremont Hotel, Howth, Co. Dublin.

The fight was on Saturday, 17 March 1923 (St. Patrick's Day) at La Scala Theatre, Dublin. McTigue won on points.

Irish Times reporting on Monday 19 March was a little sniffy about the quality of the boxing:

"There was an almost total absence of those thrills and exciting incidents one is wont to associate with contests of such importance. Indeed, there was monotonous similarity about the majority of the twenty rounds; one man, Siki, doing all the leading - without, however, inflicting much damage - and the other boxing on the retreat. The black's bustling tactics were in striking contrast to those of his opponent, who, for the most part, met the fierce onsloughts [sic] of the burly Senegalese with amazing sang froid, and McTigue's wonderful defence and dexterity in avoiding punishment were object lessons in themselves."

PA_991 [30 points]

A revisit of PA_991 because of the interesting morning light and tree shadows.

The original of this one has been deleted not long after invasion in 2011, just before the Invader 1000 Exposition, the number 1000 in Paris. I (and most other space invader fans) have never seen the original of PA_991. Thanks to the 'R-Team' this one has been re-activated in June but deleted not long after. This is apparently not the right spot.

I tried to paste the original, uncropped and edited version of this image into my comments, but the new version of Flickr wouldn't let me. If anyone wants to see that image, it is the next image in my Photostream (thanks flickr).

This was TO THE POINT:

www.flickr.com/photos/9550033@N04/1463630709/in/set-72157... then, MORE TO THE POINT, today THE FINER POINTS... lol.

Found this cheap pack of Fiber tip pens,... but I also saw the possibilities of some more 'creative' imagery, so I bought them, more (useful) props.

And I thought I was going to get away from them, tee hee.

Have a fun day, I did, and thanx, M, (*_*)

Natural Bridges Beach, Santa Cruz. Taken in Moon light after sun set. Had tough time doing a focus due to low light. Hence had to do some guess work. So the shot in large might look a bit soft.
