Leland's Whaleback and Pyramid Point in the distance on a fine September morning.

May last year's fallen leaves recompose and bubble up new ways of seeing and being for you in the New Year.

FRANCE, Boulogne-sur-Mer – Centre national de la Mer ‘NausicaA

We stopped here for a while as part of our holiday. It is probably the best Sea Life centre that I have visited, beautifully constructed and very well set out. There were information points all over the building, great for kids. The tanks were well stocked with fish and other creatures, the only problem that I had was with the camera. I found it difficult to handle with the variations of light and movement. So I have taken very few fish but have much more in the way of abstract designs inside the building and the building itself. So good for me. This is the second of three postings.

Have a whole box of pencils from my late Uncle, he loved to draw and sketch. Also, he used to sharpen pencils with a knive and had a special handle in which he could use the ones that were too short to hold.

No longer a thing these days, when I think of all the pencils offered by the company with the big blue letters and that are taken home then thrown away.

Love not only his indepth review but also the great images he made of Selen's works.

Please read his review and do visit Nitroglobus to enjoy the art and video of Selen with your own virtual eyes.

Promenade de 5km dans le village de Ramelot, Province de Liège, Wallonie, Belgique avec l'Adeps.

So for this image I brought out the 16-35mm f/2.8L IS wide-angle lens in order to get ALL the city in the frame, even the Blues Point Tower, but also the W-Hotel in Darling Harbour.

Anyway, this is the view from the rainforest on Balls Head Reserve, at Waverton. I love this location in Sydney because you can drive right up to the headland and park amid the forest.

You get out of the car to be greeted by a squadron of Brush Turkeys that follow you everywhere!! After evading these wild turkeys you can select one of the many vantage points which give uninterrupted views of all the city.

Mind you, you do share the view with King Parrots, Rainbow Lorikeets (far too many of them, lol), Crimson Rosellas and a big army of Wattlebirds.

Look at yourself as a colour- you may not be everyone’s favourite , but one day you’ll meet someone who needs you to complete their picture

As the days light was falling, a lone Seagull joins me to bid the sun a fond farewell. Just moments prior, this tiny and quickly disappearing island was filled with Gulls. The moment had all the makings of a good story telling image.

There was a golden light shining on the subject, and an interesting sky to view. Plus, there was something my subject and I had in common as the light faded. The land beneath our feet was vanishing, as the tides were coming in.

Here's another one from the archives. This was taken last Fall at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. I like the way the sunlight is hitting the water lily giving an appearance of little stars covering it. Thanks for the visits and I hope everyone has a great day!

THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT AND FAVES
