look, it's the exact same photo! only my conversation with Eben as we stood there on this little spit of land inspired me to take the 120mm lens off my camera for the first time in YEARS, and try the "normal" (80mm) lens again -- which i used for almost the entire rest of the trip. sometimes you just need a new perspective...

Found this cheap pack of Fiber tip pens,... but I also saw the possibilities of some more 'creative' imagery, so I bought them, more (useful) props.
And I thought I was going to get away from them, tee hee.
Have a fun day, I did, and thanx, M, (*_*)

A beautiful setting overlooking the Elbe river and harbour in Hamburg located at the Elbchaussee 139. A masterpiece of design, hospitality, function and setting. We enjoyed our beautiful 3-Course lunch on a sunny afternoon at this 1*Michelin starred restaurant by chef Ali Güngörmüs who was there in person to greet people which felt like a “home”. Le Canard Nouveau comes highly recommended, it’s worth a special visit and even a detour. Here we found also the Lime-Tree Terrace and the Japan Room which are waiting to be explored beside the beautiful views and gourmet pleasures. Our April 2016 visit and yes, we hope to visit again in our future. Highly recommended.
My girlfriend's mother has been wanting me to build her something for a long time now. She is going to be getting this for her birthday in a few days (Easter Lilies are her favorite)

And some points to ponder
* The State of Kerala has the highest per capita consumption of alcohol in India.
* According to statistics, the average Kerala resident accounts for 8.3 litres of liquor every year - and nearly three times the national average.
* Ironically one of Kerala's major social problems is also a huge revenue earner for the state.
* The state government holds a monopoly over liquor sale in the state, after the state banned foreign liqour shops, through the government owned Kerala State Beverages Corporation (KSBC).
* Every year, liquor and beer sales have been rising and the total sales of liquor and beer during 2007-08 was Rs.3,669 crore ($821 million). In the fiscal (2008-09) Rs.4,631 crore ($1.04 billion) worth of liquor and beer was sold. In 2009-10 fiscal, Officials are expecting the highest ever sale of liquor and beer at an estimated Rs.5,500 crore ($1.23 billion).
The government applies one of the highest taxes in the country on liquor (around 150%). This earns it high revenues. Total revenue by way of taxes that came in through the sale of liquor and beer was Rs.3,621 crore (2008-09) and by March 31, 2010, it would touch Rs.4,150 crore ($928 million) for 2009-10..

Trying to get a shot of the bridge on a nice day while tourists are milling about can be a challenge. But sometimes their presence can add an interesting touch.
