Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Looking Close on Friday is : pencil points ! Yes, there is an exclamation point since this theme deserve it ! I love pencils and I love pencils points !

While searching for the perfect pencil points, I stumbled upon this red flying pencil, trying to kiss his old grey lover… So I grabbed my camera and took a picture just before the whole scene disappeared and the red pencil flied away in a blink of an eye…The moral of this story is dont blink or you might miss something! And other moral; dont drink alcohol while taking pictures or you might see some stuff that doesn’t make sense…

I wish you all a beautiful day !! See you later my friends !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

The so called simple subjects seem to be the hardest ones for me. These pencils behaved like divas. I'm learning a lot, I hope.

I generally do not like portrait orientation for 'landscapes', but once in a while it is essential. As we walked to Virginia Falls at Glacier National Park, Virginia Creek flowed next to the trail for short distances at some points. The roar of the water here created by the creek and the beautiful background made for an unforgettable moment.

A long exposure, landscape image of rocks on the shore of Sunnyside Beach in Morayshire, Scotland.

An older image from the harbour in Flensburg! I found it to be a wonderful place. Since they keep "the points" there (traffic violations and such) I was pleased that there was so much more to this city. I would love to return there one day.

Someone sent me this in an e-mail. I think it is pretty accurate. Have a great week. View large to read easier. The author of this was Jenkins Lloyd Jones.

Been away over the holiday when all the "fun" with this site began and I must say I am not impressed. Has there been any communication form flickr?

You love the things I say I'll do

The way I hurt myself again just to get back at you

You take away when I give in

My life, my pride is broken

Rock Moss, will be in Bloom soon.

It's a beautiful area – full of beauty and subtlety. With one step, you go from darkness into a magical land. The light conjures contours and points in the image that I hadn't even noticed while taking the photograph.

Every hour of every day, the relentless waves pound the rocks and boulders on the tip of the Schoodic Peninsula in Maine. Photographed at Schoodic Point, the crown jewel of the peninsula, which is known for its dramatic coastline and crashing surf. The granite ledges and rocky outcrops provide excellent vantage points for observing the powerful Atlantic Ocean waves.
