Japanese exclusive? The seller didn't know but it is pictured in my newer Japan Barbie book underneath the Japanese Version of Candy Striper Volunteer and by itself - I can't read Japanese, so I can't verify 100% if it was made by Mattel, since it is not tagged. The snap does not look like a Mattel snap. Any notions on its origin and value? It seems crisp and unplayed with. I'm thinking I may resell it for Christmas money if it's very valuable...LOL
Upon my return to SFO, I witnessed this amusing scene. So there were two United flights from LAX to SFO around the same time, and apparently some of the baggage got swapped, so the people on the earlier flight were still waiting for their bags to come in on the later flight, while the bags from the second flight had already arrived, though their owners hadn't. I assume airport handlers took them off of the carousel to clear it off. (My own bags from JFK were supposed to come out of Claim 3 here, but instead they emerged from Claim 2.) Hijinks all around.
But the kicker was when I overheard the PA system say, "We are at Homeland Security Alert Level Orange. Please report any unattended luggage to airport personnel immediately. Thank you."

ODC-Timing Is Everything!
I've been using a French Press to make my morning coffee for a long time now. It's a delicious drink. I coarsely grind my coffee beans and make sure I wait the proper time (4 minutes) before pressing. I like that the pot can be put away when not in use. It saves room on my countertop.
I'd had a very tiring day. I hadn't slept well for 3 days now due to jetlag, and I did probably too much walking from the hotel first to Four Courts, then the National Museum of Ireland, then Dublinia/ former Synod Hall, then to Christ Church Cathedral, St. Patrick's Cathedral and finally Whitefriar Street Carmelite Church.
I ended up wandering around George's Street Arcade once more and had dinner at this place called Urban Picnic. I ordered this squash (or carrot?? Can't remember) soup and the risotto. The food was very good, but perhaps a tad too salty.
But then at the end of my dinner, I was so exhausted that I dropped my camera. Miraculously, I only killed the filter, and the camera and the lens survived without any damage.

This is delicate to my elder uncle and his wife. They have really suffered alot these 9 months. My uncle was supposed to discharge this morning and I planned to have dinner with him tonight. However, he did a blood test this morning and found out the number of white blood cell inside his body was zero, so he not only couldn't discharge, but also admitted into the isolated bedroom. I feel very sad to learn this news, really. I called him tonight and he said it's "normal" after the chemo. As long as he doesn't up fighting, I also cannot give up praying! Hopefully we will get the good news very soon!
