Our weekly organ picture is followed by our weekly Ostkreuz photo - this time it's platform E where all the S-Bahn trains on the Silesian line (Erkner, Köpenick, Karlshorst etc.) make its stop. Pay attention to the simple but still beautiful pillars!

On the day I left the South Coast driving cross-country to our new home in Maine. I miss this view. Not sure how it looks now as the platform was already in the process of being dismantled then. The platform was always a welcome sight when I drove back from the North as I knew I'd be home in five minutes.

Stanningley (black & white) in possession at Arthur Miller Stadium during the second half of a 6-16 Division One defeat by West Bowling in amateur rugby league's National Conference League.

The fixture was brought forward from Round 13, giving the Bradford-based visitors an immediate opportunity to avenge a 36-38 defeat, their first of the league season, the previous Saturday, at the hands of Stanningley. Hooker Daniel Halmshaw scored two of West Bowling's three tries.

Where I was knocked to the cement and fractured my kneecap was upstairs, mezzanine level. The puddle emanating from that trashcan was green slime, very slippery. Hard to say what this is: from the ceiling, mostly, I think.

These puddles don't dry up or get cleaned up.

Once the platform is in place, he moves across and pushes in the secure pin that locks the platform to the current position.

Once the repairs are complete, he pulls the pin out from the mechanism and pushes the lever again.

Me and my boyfriend went to a 'train graveyard' located between Stockton and Thornaby.

Cut my feet annoying as we did alot of climbing under and over trains.

Think it was worth it thought, got some pretty nice shots and also got to play around with HDR.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Thirteen metres, at 09:03am on Monday 28th December 2015, on a beautifully warm and sunny morning off Horse Guards Road, in front of Downing Street in the grounds of St James's Park. Situated in the City Of Westminster, the Park spans twenty three Hectares and is the oldest of the Royal Parks of London, with a variety of visiting and nesting birds that include Ducks, Canada Geese and Pelicans, and here, one of three mute swan cygnets.

Swans are birds of the family Anatidae with the genus Cygnus. The largest of the swan species can weigh 15kgs, with a wingspan of almost ten feet and stand five feet tall. Though they pair for life, they can sometimes split after nesting failure and will find a new mate in the event that one of a pair dies. This is a Mute swan cygnet with a wingspan of 2.4m and weighing around 12kgs.

A beautiful ceramic/glass mural on the airport express platform at Kyoto Station. I have seen this several times, but since I have never used that particular route before, I never had a chance to get a good shot of it. I believe that is Yasaka Pagoda on the end (Hokan-ji).

A team looks on as their platform endures wind and waves.

Photos from a one-month journey on the Trans-Siberian (well ok, actually the Trans-Mongolian) railway starting in Beijing (see set), via Ulaanbaatar, a 12 day trip through Mongolia (see set), a 6 day stopover in Irkutsk and at Lake Baikal (see set), and then finally arriving in Moscow (see set).

Installed between 1264-67, the relics platform is a vaulted stone kiosk with two bays.

La Sainte-Chapelle (The Holy Chapel) was commissioned by Louis IX (1214-70), Saint Louis, to hold his extensive collection of relics. Construction on the chapel began 1239, and it was consecrated 1248. The chapel held the Crown of Thorns, fragments of the True Cross, as well as the Holy Lance.

The chapel is built in the Rayonnant Gothic architectural style (running between 1240 and 1350).
