Taken during the beginning of our sea trip. The port has a beautiful view of both the ocean and the mountains far inland. The platform apparently is not being used anymore, but is left there to be exposed to the elements.

僕の父は若い頃「サンダーバード号」の車掌をしていた。時を経てその佇まいは大きく変貌。それでも尚、僕の心を惹きつける何かを感じずにはいられない。

Just to see if I got the day right

I captured this image at the Falls Platform with a view looking to the northeast at Brooks Falls while observing a brown bear in Katmai National Park. The image is of a male brown bear on top of the Falls waiting for salmon to make the jump and attempt to catch it to eat. He was using his left front paw to scratch his head.

Bury Station on the East Lancashire Heritage Railway, taken from the train window. So many photo ops on this lovely preservation railway, there will be more!
