The plain prinia, or the plain, or white-browed wren-warbler is a small warbler in the Cisticolidae family.
It's been at least a year since I baked bread. All things considered, this one is not too shabby. I haven't had any granulated sugar in the house in a long time but I found some light brown sugar in the freezer. I think I will use it in the recipe from now on.
Plain White Bread
9 oz (300 ml) water
4 tablespoons non fat dry milk powder
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
3 tablespoons light brown sugar
3 cups bread flour
1 heaping teaspoon rapid rise yeast.
I'm lazy. I put everything into a bread machine and select the dough cycle. 90 minutes later I knead it a few times on a floured surface and put it into a loaf pan sprayed with Pam.
Proof it in the oven with just the light turned on until it rises properly (about an inch above the edge of the pan). Bake in a preheated 350° oven for about 30 minutes.
Here I was shooting 50mm transferred to the lens by shooting, where the scenery is beautiful, but also the beauty of Taiwan.
In general observation, one may see the female junco as a drab bird with dull color. However, upon detailed study, the markings are quite beautiful and the upper feathering around the neck and head take on a bluish hue in proper light. Rather than a Plain Jane, I see her as a Marvelous Martha!
Plain weave rug with Herdwick wool from Cumbria, England. I had been holding on to this yarn for about 8 years.

Brdy is a range of hills in the Czech Republic, forming a long massif stretching for cca.60 km southwest from Prague.
The northern section of the Brdy is called "Hřebeny" and features one narrow ridge (highest elevation Písek - 690m).
The main Brdy range starts south of the Litavka river gorge and consists of several major elevations connected into one plateau, the highest peaks among them being Tok (864m), Praha (862m) or Třemšín (827m).
Most of the Brdy is covered by forest, and it is one of the largest contiguously forested areas in the interior of the country. Large sections of the massif are designated as a restricted military area and closed to the public. The Brdy military area has been a source of controversy for several decades.

Having lost its military no-go zone status just recently, the Brdy mountain range remain unspoiled and perfect for an off-the-beaten-path hiking exploration.
In February, we pursued a winter day-long 40km through-hike, starting in Příkosice and finishing our hiking in Příbram, wandering across deep woods and treeless plains between Padrťské rybníky ponds and Jordán plains - a rewarding though quite challenging endeavour.
