The cat chaise longue has lasted quite a long time considering it's been used by all the cats to sharpen there claws on. We must see about getting a replacement but as far as we know it's only available in Canada. The yellow toy snake behind Pixie was left there by Kaiser.
(Sorry if I missed anyone's comment lately as I have been away due to a death in my family)
But this little one will be added today to etsy =)
Another image for my current project photographing people inside a box and then outside. This is Pixie.
Luckily the pigeon flew off with Pixie trying to fly after it. The pigeons are here every year for the cherry trees as the fruits are just getting ripe right now. She often climbs to the top of this tree and leaps onto the shed roof .
Everything is a game to Pixie. Every time we settle down in the evening to watch something on television she wants to play and will run riot around the living room until we join in. And as for sitting still on your lap - forget it. She thinks your lap is somewhere to roll or chase her tail. I was chatting to my neighbour yesterday evening and asked her to make sure she gives Pixie some cuddles whilst we are away - only another week to go!
Happy Furry Friday everyone

• Can found Pixie at MARKETPLACE, just need to search for FanyMi.
Even though the temperature outside is a bitterly cold 3 degrees, Pixie watches the garden in her sentry box. It's been very mild recently but today it's more like winter. Astrida went to work for a few hours today - she's progressing well .
"And he opened the cage. The pixies shot in every direction like rockets. Two of them seized Neville by the ears and lifted him into the air. Several shot straight through the window, showering the back row with broken glass. The rest proceeded to wreck the classroom more effectively than a rampaging rhino.“

Lockhart surely made an entrance, didn’t he? So capable, so ingenious, so… quick to run off?
Another one of those scenes that I just HAD to do – even though this was only possible with a bit of Photoshop wizardry. Before I photographed a tons of hands though the stairs and that platform caused a bit of a headache. In the end I opted for this which isn’t too bad but also isn’t as ingenious as I wanted the staircase to be. Well…
The pixies had to be minifig hands, just size wise and, well, we’re talking about me after all.
Sadly there’s no fitting printed tile for the numerous pictures Mr. Lockhart had set up in the class room so I had to go for the scroll print. Compromises… I also would have loved to use the classic sand-red torso for Lockhart but sadly that one is sitting in Norway so a Doctor it had to be. Hope it works well enough!

This series is obviously heavily inspired by my friend Marcel who did the inspirational undertaking of doing a series of daily builds covering Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone last month. Please follow him as his work is amazing and deserves way more views than it currently has!
Thank you, Marcel, for allowing me to continue what you started. You are indeed a wizard.
Pixies dwell in the twilight, between day and night, between the heavens and the earth, between the conscious and the unconscious...
where all things are possible, where our past and future meet, where we meet ourselves coming back. When we dance with the pixies, we dance with the reflections of our true selves and the true nature of the world.
Pixies love to dance. Their music is the most haunting and beautiful ever heard by human ears.

I was trying to take a photo of the Pixettes and all of a sudden Pixie jumped on my shoulder. If we are paying too much attention to the Pixettes she will come and make it be known that she too needs some loving.
News on the Pixettes - we had a lovely couple come around yesterday evening to see the kittens with the idea of having one of them. I got a text this morning - they are taking both! They already have two cats, a dog and a couple of rabbits so you could say they are animal lovers - lol. They are such nice people and it is good to know that our darling Pixettes will be loved and cherished by good people.
PS: we actually think that the Pixettes may both be boys!
Everything was so peaceful. Pixie had found her favourite spot on the bed using the net curtain as a hammock . The Tabbies were each side of the curtain and Kaiser had crept around so Pixie didn't disturb , but then.......
At first glance Pixie looks like she is trying to tap-dance. {Maybe we should train her } However she is really lying horizontally on the stairs which means no-one can pass her without being attacked !
Happy Valentines everywhere ! This is Pixie and Terry Cotta who meet every Valentine's day at this romantic spot
The fence is a perfect place for Pixie to sharpen her claws, rather than chair legs , human legs etc
This banana tree will have to grow some before Kaiser or Ray will be able to sit under it's leaves !
Pixie peeping through the irises yesterday. Today is Astrida's birthday . I am looking after her as she's not so well today.
Pixie has been watching and helping me mend our leaking pond. This is an ideal job to do at the moment as the cats are my only distraction and I can take as long as I like. In a month's time this part of the garden becomes a tunnel of wysteria - it's all a bit woody at the moment
This is Pixie checking out the pond plants. She usually nibbles the tasty ones. Luckily none of the cats have noticed the fish yet.
Well it's confirmed, Pixie is pregnant! She was x-rayed today and she is expecting two and it is imminent!! Hopefully we will be able to find good homes for them. Do you think she knew that when she walked into our lives? - lol
Posting and running today as my big birthday approaches. It is a long weekend of celebrations, starting with a family birthday lunch in Weston Super Mare, then on Sunday night we are off to a local Michelin star restaurant for dinner and finally on Monday I am having a glorious spa day at the Chewton Glen Hotel - wooo hooo!
Happy Furry Friday!
Wishing everyone as much fun as I am going to have.
Oh and if you want to know the birthday see the photo in comments below

The new summer-house has been taking up all my spare time - never been so busy since I retired ! Pixie is spending a lot of time in her tree (when she isn't helping me lay the patio). Here she is checking to see if Ray is home .
How wonderful to be woken at 3.00am this morning by Pixie chasing around under the bed trying to catch the mouse she had brought in. Impossible to deal with so we let her get on with it. This morning she was lying on the bed with one eye on the dressing table which is where I think the mouse may have run to. Phill pulled it out today - no mouse! We will look for Mr Mouse over the weekend. Mousey, mousey come out of your housey!!
Saturday we are going to a pottery day. Phill and I watch a programme called Pottery Throw Down which is one of those progammes where they get members of the public (who have pottery as a hobby) to go up against each other to see who is the best potter over the space of 8 weeks. Whilst watching, Phill said he wouldn't mind having a go as he had never done pottery at school (I did but very badly). So for his birthday I bought him a day at a pottery class. We are both going and will get the chance to make something. It should be fun
Happy Furry Friday everyone!
Wishing you a creative weekend
Despite the late April chill, a pixie makes her way northward for the summer season. Flying must have been rough this past week with the storms. Pixies follow similar migration routes as hummingbirds and are often mistaken for hummingbirds.
You have to be quick (and innocently child-like) to spot the pixies; most adults don’t believe in them, hence do not see them.
