Another image for my current project photographing people inside a box and then outside. This is Pixie.
The new summer-house has been taking up all my spare time - never been so busy since I retired ! Pixie is spending a lot of time in her tree (when she isn't helping me lay the patio). Here she is checking to see if Ray is home .

• Can found Pixie at MARKETPLACE, just need to search for FanyMi.
This is the best way to spend a cold, dreary Sunday...according to Pixie.
I was working at the dining room and looked over to see Pixie and my Mum sharing a nap. Pixe is, without a doubt, the best snuggler.
The fence is a perfect place for Pixie to sharpen her claws, rather than chair legs , human legs etc
"And he opened the cage. The pixies shot in every direction like rockets. Two of them seized Neville by the ears and lifted him into the air. Several shot straight through the window, showering the back row with broken glass. The rest proceeded to wreck the classroom more effectively than a rampaging rhino.“

Lockhart surely made an entrance, didn’t he? So capable, so ingenious, so… quick to run off?
Another one of those scenes that I just HAD to do – even though this was only possible with a bit of Photoshop wizardry. Before I photographed a tons of hands though the stairs and that platform caused a bit of a headache. In the end I opted for this which isn’t too bad but also isn’t as ingenious as I wanted the staircase to be. Well…
The pixies had to be minifig hands, just size wise and, well, we’re talking about me after all.
Sadly there’s no fitting printed tile for the numerous pictures Mr. Lockhart had set up in the class room so I had to go for the scroll print. Compromises… I also would have loved to use the classic sand-red torso for Lockhart but sadly that one is sitting in Norway so a Doctor it had to be. Hope it works well enough!

This series is obviously heavily inspired by my friend Marcel who did the inspirational undertaking of doing a series of daily builds covering Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone last month. Please follow him as his work is amazing and deserves way more views than it currently has!
Thank you, Marcel, for allowing me to continue what you started. You are indeed a wizard.
Pixie has been studying the wood pigeons who have been eating the cherries in the nearby trees. I don't think she realized that Ray was sleeping below.
Happy Valentines everywhere ! This is Pixie and Terry Cotta who meet every Valentine's day at this romantic spot
This is Pixie by her tree and when it's fine weather she shoots up to the top and leaps across to the shed roof. More pics to follow !
With Kaiser relaxing the other end of the tree-house, Pixie was on the balcon with her eyes trained on something up the tree nearby. The next picture continues the story (it's half term so i've got time !)
It's so unfair - poor Ray always seems to get second best but in truth we spoil all our cats. Ray could use the cat flap but chooses to stay outside. Pixie just wants to be number one and she does seem to gloat when she gets the best spot to sit.
As soon as a new spot becomes vacant, you can be fairly certain that one of the cats will check it out. This is Pixie trying not to be seen and waiting to ambush anybody passing . Earlier in the day I opened the door to my tool shed and next door's cat Fifi shot out !
Well it's confirmed, Pixie is pregnant! She was x-rayed today and she is expecting two and it is imminent!! Hopefully we will be able to find good homes for them. Do you think she knew that when she walked into our lives? - lol
Pixie was with us in this world for only nine and a half days , she was a shining star to all of us during that time, she brought joy and happiness to her family and will be forever in our hearts .
Sadly she was taken from us too early, rest in peace little angel.
Despite the late April chill, a pixie makes her way northward for the summer season. Flying must have been rough this past week with the storms. Pixies follow similar migration routes as hummingbirds and are often mistaken for hummingbirds.
You have to be quick (and innocently child-like) to spot the pixies; most adults don’t believe in them, hence do not see them.
Posting and running today as my big birthday approaches. It is a long weekend of celebrations, starting with a family birthday lunch in Weston Super Mare, then on Sunday night we are off to a local Michelin star restaurant for dinner and finally on Monday I am having a glorious spa day at the Chewton Glen Hotel - wooo hooo!
Happy Furry Friday!
Wishing everyone as much fun as I am going to have.
Oh and if you want to know the birthday see the photo in comments below

How wonderful to be woken at 3.00am this morning by Pixie chasing around under the bed trying to catch the mouse she had brought in. Impossible to deal with so we let her get on with it. This morning she was lying on the bed with one eye on the dressing table which is where I think the mouse may have run to. Phill pulled it out today - no mouse! We will look for Mr Mouse over the weekend. Mousey, mousey come out of your housey!!
Saturday we are going to a pottery day. Phill and I watch a programme called Pottery Throw Down which is one of those progammes where they get members of the public (who have pottery as a hobby) to go up against each other to see who is the best potter over the space of 8 weeks. Whilst watching, Phill said he wouldn't mind having a go as he had never done pottery at school (I did but very badly). So for his birthday I bought him a day at a pottery class. We are both going and will get the chance to make something. It should be fun
Happy Furry Friday everyone!
Wishing you a creative weekend
This cake was based on some little models the customer had. I don't know who made them, but they were really sweet. I took three pics as there wasn't really a front or back to this cake.
It was such a beautiful day yesterday we spent the whole day out and about, so I missed Furry Friday. Never mind I'll make up for it will a double tabby photo. Pixie has put on a lot of weight very quickly so I am going to take her to the vet to check to see if she is pregnant or just a piggy. She does try to gorge on the other cats food so unless you stand and watch her, she will eat everything in sight. The vet couldn't tell if she was neutured or not last time but I really need to know now that we are keeping her, so I will book her in to be spayed and see what happens when they shave her.
Just loving having the extra days off at Easter.
