This was taken late September when we still had warm days. Temperatures dropped below zero last night, so all the cats are clinging on to warm spots in the house at the moment. We even had an open fire last night, and Kaiser grabbed the spot right in front of it. Nothing planned for the weekend. My knee is worse than ever after my acupuncture so I won't be doing a lot of walking that's for sure.

Although our neighbour's have two dogs, Pixie will insist on patrolling along the fence. Obviously, she only does this when they are not around.
So fed up of not going anywhere, we have decided to drive down to Weymouth tomorrow and have also booked lunch at a seafood restaurant.

According to local folklore of south-west England, pixies are small mischievous creatures that inhabit the countryside and woodlands and like to play pranks on humans. Depending on the tale told, pixies can vary in size from tiny enough to fit in the palm of a human's hand, to the size of a small child, although they are always a good deal below the size of an average human. They can be portrayed with or without wings, and over the years have taken on many traits usually associated with fairies, often leading to the assumption that they are one-and-the-same being, although this is a common misconception.
Pixies are sometimes said to be born in much the same way as humans, however some tales tell that they are humans transformed through misdeeds or magic. They play pranks on humans such as stealing their belongings, throwing things or calling out their names. They may also steal horses during the night and return them by the morning with tangled manes. While pixies usually don't cause any real harm, it is said that if someone follows the voices of pixies, they will vanish never to return.
In the same vein as Where's Wally, you have to spot where Pixie is. No clues now:-))

Firstly, let me say that Pixie is really not as fat as she looks in this photo........honestly!
With all the time on his hands, Phill is doing a lot of re-organizing in the garden. Our pond has a leak and he is going to reline it. Pixie has decided to carry out the pruning which is very helpful of her. Me? I shall just spend more time rearranging cupboards indoors
Well we have got through another week of strangeness and now the strangeness has become the norm. I think I will take me a long time after this to stand less than 2 metres next to anyone.

Pixie can watch everything and feel powerful from her position hanging off the stairs. She can remind a human that it's foodtime with a simple tap on the head , as you pass by underneath .
I just love her sweet nose and I also love that when she is asleep she is not up to her usual mischief.

Phill brings me a cup of tea in the morning after feeding the cats. However, rather than eat breakfast, Pixie runs upstairs and jumps on the bed for a game or a cuddle depending on her mood. We are convinced she is being fed elsewhere as she hardly eats anything at home, and yet, she is like a little round ball
Pixie loves lying or sitting on my Kindle. You also loves scratching the case .............grrrr!
