Pixie just loves sitting on top of our tumbledrier when we set it to extra dry . It's warm and wobbly ! Her dream is that one day she will have her own launderette.

Pixie has turned 9 this month, but her energy seems to be increased if anything - she keeps chasing lizards and other critter under the sun, and I have to stop her and declare a timeout every now and then.

Pixie has ventured into Ray's tunnel and she looks like she's seen a ghost ! This shot reminds me that there is work to be done down this end of the garden . For a start , Ray's whiskers have snapped off in the recent freeze (not the real furry Ray) and the old shed is soon to be replaced. The new summer house will be more like an art studio with beer and soft drinks available after 6pm, but only for myself and Bigbird 3 until the lockdown ends . I'm hoping it's going to be as good as I'm imagining it in my head !

I saw a small pot of the flowers for sale in a grocery store, and bought them because l liked the color ...

Luckily the pigeon flew off with Pixie trying to fly after it. The pigeons are here every year for the cherry trees as the fruits are just getting ripe right now. She often climbs to the top of this tree and leaps onto the shed roof .

The new summer-house has been taking up all my spare time - never been so busy since I retired ! Pixie is spending a lot of time in her tree (when she isn't helping me lay the patio). Here she is checking to see if Ray is home .

The cat committee has reported sightings of a hedge-cat and a noisy pigeon. Pixie's task is to patrol the garden and report back. Happy Furry Friday !

Lockhart surely made an entrance, didn’t he? So capable, so ingenious, so… quick to run off?
Another one of those scenes that I just HAD to do – even though this was only possible with a bit of Photoshop wizardry. Before I photographed a tons of hands though the stairs and that platform caused a bit of a headache. In the end I opted for this which isn’t too bad but also isn’t as ingenious as I wanted the staircase to be. Well…
The pixies had to be minifig hands, just size wise and, well, we’re talking about me after all.
Sadly there’s no fitting printed tile for the numerous pictures Mr. Lockhart had set up in the class room so I had to go for the scroll print. Compromises… I also would have loved to use the classic sand-red torso for Lockhart but sadly that one is sitting in Norway so a Doctor it had to be. Hope it works well enough!

This series is obviously heavily inspired by my friend Marcel who did the inspirational undertaking of doing a series of daily builds covering Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone last month. Please follow him as his work is amazing and deserves way more views than it currently has!

This is Pixie by her tree and when it's fine weather she shoots up to the top and leaps across to the shed roof. More pics to follow !
With Kaiser relaxing the other end of the tree-house, Pixie was on the balcon with her eyes trained on something up the tree nearby. The next picture continues the story (it's half term so i've got time !)
In the U.S, found only in deep south Texas; 5 or so years ago they were so thick we jokingly compared them to Snouts. After a big freeze a few years ago, they've all but disappeared. I was surprised by this freshly eclosed appearing individual paying me a very brief visit.
At first glance Pixie looks like she is trying to tap-dance. {Maybe we should train her } However she is really lying horizontally on the stairs which means no-one can pass her without being attacked !
This is Pixie checking out the pond plants. She usually nibbles the tasty ones. Luckily none of the cats have noticed the fish yet.
As soon as a new spot becomes vacant, you can be fairly certain that one of the cats will check it out. This is Pixie trying not to be seen and waiting to ambush anybody passing . Earlier in the day I opened the door to my tool shed and next door's cat Fifi shot out !
Pixie peeping through the irises yesterday. Today is Astrida's birthday . I am looking after her as she's not so well today.
