While taking this picture, a gazillion little bugs were taking bites out of me...leaving marks on my feet and legs that lasted a month, at least.
Was it worth it?

Okay wow; it's been so long since I did anything like blogging, I let my In Cold Blood die a merciful death about 15 months ago. (Not counting that rogue underwear shot I snuck onto Berry's blog the other day, of course.) But I worked really hard to be the best damn Starlight Pixel Prom accessory I could be to my lovely partner Roslin Petion so I thought I'd try document my look. We had the best time, even if we left immediately after my dedication/request of Bad Romance because like hello do you even know me?
This was the end result after a week of torture, you see the poor girl knows my "style" all too well and... well pretty sure I had her at least partially convinced I was going to turn up in a Chippendales outfit with stiletto heels, a peenhawk, and spikes. Looottts of spikes.

Experimenting with making abstracts from photo pixels in greatly enlarged digital photos. i'm having a lot of fun playing around with the coloured pixels from my digital photos.
There are hundreds (thousands, a myriad) of pictures within pixtures!
i'd never thought about it before, comparing the building blocks of enlarged images, how printed pics are made up of dots, and digital made up of squares. wonder if there are other shapes (rectangles, triangles, etc)of man made reproductions.
What shapes are in the enlarged original images , e.g.. rods and cones etc. I guess eventually we get to molecules and atoms, and quantum bits. There must be essays written on this subject, does anyone have recommendations?

On the hunt for Severe Weather after about a month off of chasing. Though, always prepared and ready to go on another storm chasing adventure, once the storm models look favorable I was off to Eastern Colorado!
Tornado warning had just come over about 4:20pm MDT and we were just about to intercept. We were 4 mins late to see the tornado but we did get right under the base off the storm that produced it. Strong winds and hail accompanied this as we got to the south of this rotating supercell. Up close and personal!

Using the pixelizing technique Andrea Russo / Evan Zodl used for some tessellations, Joel Stern made some amazing faces. Inspired by all of them I made this model.
It was a big day for Pixel today - her first visit to the vet's office.
She was very good, weighed in at 1 kilo, and had her first vaccination. She has medicine for worm treatment, but no ear mites at the moment.
We go back in 4 weeks.
The vet thinks she is around 9-10 weeks, and said she was very beautiful!
Here she is having a rest after her ordeal - she has her own pop-up tent set up in the lounge, filled with toys and kitty equipment, until she can be around the other two adult cats.
This is a photo from the art exhibit "Pixel Forest" at the New Museum in NYC. LED lights were hung like vines from the ceiling and they constantly changed colors every few seconds.

Oh man... well... this exists. I went to see this film with Luigifan10 today and throughout the movie we kept looking at eachother and asking each other, "Why?" So... let\'s get to the good and the bad.
Good:....uhhhhh... the CGI was cool and uhhhh.... I liked seeing a lot of my favorite 80\'s video game characters like Donkey Kong, Mario, Duck Hunt, Burger Time, Frogger, and Q*Bert, but we\'ll get to Q*Bert later....
Bad: This movie is... is... terrible.... it\'s honestly one of the worst things I have ever seen in my entire life! Every character in this movie annoyed me. They kept doing this weird stuff in the plot with cheat codes and friendly aliens and shit and didn\'t even bring it up later! And then there\'s Q*Bert. FUCKING Q*BERT! How can you mess up Q*Bert? I know how! Have him fucking talk and have an annoying voice and personality and then turn into a girl and bang the guy who voices Olaf (spoilers, but who even cares for this movie anyways)!! WHAT?!?! Ok, so I knew that this movie was going to be bad before I saw it because I saw the score on Rotten Tomatoes, but it was even worse than I expected!! I can not even reiterate enough how terrible this movie was. Please, somebody, stop making shit Adam Sandler movies!!!
So overall, I\'m going to give this movie a 1/10. The thing that sucks is the concept of this movie is really cool but they added Adam Sandler and all his chums and made this movie awful!! Seriously guys, you can skip this movie and go see Ant-Man instead. Seriously, I feel like I need to see Ant-Man again to go restore my faith in humanity!
