The above image is a scan from an original Kodachrome™ slide. The default size is 2000 x 1250 pixels, so clicking on the photo will enlarge it for better viewing.
The original image comes from my slide collection, amassed over the past 40+ years. They are a combination of my own photographs and ones acquired over those years.
I created this Photostream in 2017 for the purpose of holding my slide collection as an archive, as otherwise they would just remain in binders and boxes, not being enjoyed by anyone, myself included.

“Fishing in the Fog” represents a sheer dedication to the art of fishing while being surrounded by a heavenly fog and blue mists on the South Holston River in Northeast Tennessee. An air of mystery is presented while the morning light is breaking through the clouds in the background. This image is a color variation of an earlier photograph entitled “The Fishermen”, which is also available in our gallery.

Pixels Stick Fun Evening @ Plymouth & District Photography Club. Getting the focus and exposure right is a challenge then The post processing offers endless editing options, but none are used here other than adding contrast, a tad of colour and cleaning up the image?

Preserved BR built (Eastleigh, 1948) Bulleid "Merchant Navy" Class 8P 35028 "Clan Line" on display at the Longmoor Military Railway - 05/07/1969.
I believe this (and other images) were taken during one of the Open Day events at LMR. The date quoted (05/07/1969) is my best guess based on other photographs I've seen

Continuing the theme of the development of the entertainment industry, the first games, game consoles, I would like to remember how much fun and new it was. When we bought the cartridge and wanted to see exactly what developers were offering us. And in a huge list of games, we searched for the coolest, most exciting ones.
In those days, the animated screen saver was sometimes better than the game itself, but nevertheless we enjoyed controlling the pixel characters, researching, solving puzzles, moving from one level to another. The world we'd never seen was now on our screens.
