As all of my cameras were pointed towards the supercell showing all that rotation. I really didn't pay attention to the storm that was coming in from the due north, until I paused to look that way.

2nd Storm was almost on top of my location. Luckily it was moving to the southeast & that meant I had a little time before the storm moved directly over.

This 2nd storm was outflow dominate. Producing this incredibly photogenic shelf cloud as in slow crept toward the city of Kearney.

This storm just kept getting photographically better by the minute. I had to flip 180s for a few mins as both storms was producing some insane storm photography!

... d'un côté, il aimerait bien qu'elles n'existent pas pour entrer et sortir à sa guise ... mais, d'un autre coté, il s'y passe tellement de choses intéressantes ...

... pas rare qu'à la nuit tombée, on entende le "tam-tam" de ses pattes sur le carreau ...

... douces papattes qui viennent d'immobiliser (aplatir) un papillon de nuit ou une autre pauvre bestiole attirée par la lumière ...

... et si on tourne la tête assez rapidement, on peut apercevoir Pixel, littéralement "écartelé" et redescendant doucement le carreau en tartinant au passage, généreusement sa prise sur toute la vitre ...

... pas de photo dispo pour étayer (trop gore et pas assez de lumière) ... celle-ci sera beaucoup plus correcte ...

The Sunrise Lark! by Munib Chaudry

The rufous-naped lark (Mirafra africana) or rufous-naped bush lark is a widespread and conspicuous species of lark in the lightly wooded grasslands, open savannas and farmlands of the Afrotropics. Males attract attention to themselves by their bold and repeated wing-fluttering displays from prominent perches, which is accompanied by a melodious and far-carrying whistled phrase. This rudimentary display has been proposed as the precursor to the wing-clapping displays of other bush lark species. They have consistently rufous outer wings and a short erectile crest, but the remaining plumage hues and markings are individually and geographically variable. It has a straight lower, and longish, curved upper mandible.

The beautiful Rufous-naped Lark was photographed on an early morning game drive in the Nairobi National Park, Kenya.

This is a picture of a Pixel that I captured on a Toshiba Satellite P870 laptop screen. I used a Nikon 18-55mm Gii lens on a reverse macro setup to capture this shot. I would have loved for it to be more sharper but I’m yet to master the Reverse Macro technique. Only post processing done is to increase the sharpness a bit and cropping. Hope you like it.
