June 21, 2013 - North of Kearney Nebraska US
Still adjusting to figuring out how to get the low light function on this camera to work. To far away from the city for it to paint the storm with light. Unfortunately these came out way darker than normal.
This storm wasn't producing much lightning that evening. Hot & Humid... waiting for this storm to push south. Ever so slowly this crept south to eventually our location.
This wasn't as photogenic as some of the mid June night storms. Less definition on the gust front. Better this than nothing for this time of year!

He moves a lot, so this is a heavily photoshoped frame. Although I took many shots of Pixel this was the only one that shows his markings well.

Esse sand lindo da jade ficou tanto tempo na fila, tadinho, uma injustiça.
Um tom maravilhoso de roxo com pontinhos magenta e prata. Estes últimos na minha opinião seriam totalmente dispensáveis, acho até que o esmalte seria mais bonito sem eles. Mas o resultado final é um esmalte bem bonito, ainda assim.
A textura final após a secagem ficou ótima, mas achei o mais chatinho de todos da marca que eu já usei pra esmaltar. É bem grossinho e tende a juntar carocinhos se não pincelar com cuidado.
E vocês, já trocaram de esmalte esse ano? Quem serão os primeiros escolhidos? rsss...
Here we have Savannah's City Hall and River Street. Truth is, I had the white balance set incorrectly in-camera when taking this shot. However, once corrected, the shot lost everything that I loved about it (the white balance should have technically been much cooler in tone).
Taken with an EOS 7D modified by Life Pixel with their Super Color IR filter.
Lately I'm obsessed with pixel art. Its really different from what I'm used to doing, and its a welcome distraction from job rejection emails. I spent my entire Saturday, twelve hours, doing this. Right now I'm really derivative of Mother 3 and the Scott Pilgrim game, but I think I'm developing more originality as I figure this out. I love how details translate in miniature, and I'm really obsessed with wonky perspectives and making shapes the opposite of uniform and blocky.
Going to try some animation soon I guess.
