Details
The Binnenhof - a complex of buildings in the city centre of The Hague, Netherlands, next to the Hofvijver. It houses the meeting place of both houses of the States General of the Netherlands, as well as the Ministry of General Affairs and the office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. Built primarily in the 13th century, the Gothic castle originally functioned as residence of the counts of Holland and became the political centre of the Dutch Republic in 1584. The Binnenhof is among the oldest Parliament buildings in the world still in use.

Not sure if I took this, we have this camera that just goes around the house and take random animal shots, but it will make a fine addition to the cat set.

Landscape photo I took in Alaska using the round pixels technique I invented. Viewing the larger sizes will reveal that each circle is 20x20 pixels and a solid color.
This image is a 2000X1250 pixel scan from a slide, print or negative. The vast majority of the shots were scanned during the 2007-2014 period. Some images may be re-uploaded from the earliest versions which were done in a smaller size and are noted accordingly.
The images here from my own collection. They are a combination of my own photographs, as well as those acquired over 40+ years through trading, purchasing, and attending various slide events around the world.
This photostream was initially created in 2017 for archival purposes, and in the years since (to 2023) has had over 11 million image views.

The image of Earth is a derivative of an image of Earth courtesy of NASA at visibleearth.nasa.gov/view_rec.php?id=2429 The image of Earth was treated with the Fractalius filter as was the model and the mask (each processed separately).
This was done using a pixel module created by Max Hulme. The idea came from Mick Guy, who thought of making this picture of the painting "Picasso's Eye" from seperate "pixels".
Max Hulme came to the convention with numbered grid sheets, and about 800 photocopies of paper to be folded, all in 1 of the 5 shades of white/grey/black.

There are many restaurants in the old center. Even eateries that have regional dishes on the menu. The outdoor terraces are often heated, which can attract visitors almost all year round.
