ZURB Wired 2016: Life Services Alternatives is committed to
providing quality homes for adults with disabilities. This year, they are trying to purchase their 12th home.
We’re going to help them by creating a brand new marketing campaign that includes a new responsive
website, print mailers, thank you cards, posters and email campaigns with video.
The ZURB Wired 24-hour marathon is where our team and the team from
one lucky local nonprofit get together to do something great in 24 hours. We spend the day helping the
nonprofit solve a big challenge; whether it be marketing for an upcoming event, or completely overhauling
their brand; and we get it all done in 24 hours.
ZURB is a close-knit team of product designers that help companies design
better. zurb.com
Notice the wireless receiver tucked into her boot? That's why you wear clothing with some kind of pockets when speaking ;)
“Funky Pixels” features creative connections between human and machine, between real and virtual space. It showcases artistic works that call upon those beholding them to bring their whole body into play.

This shows the state of my pixel painting on November 4, 2011. 20 panels have been painted with fine-tuning 'adjustments' still to be made. Even after this much work, 28 panels have yet to be started. [The Mona Lisa 4Nov2011_adjusted.jpg]
I came up with an algorithm that scans the pixels of an image, and creates this nice 'paint' effect.
Pixels was very hard to pose. She was afraid of the moo card for some reason.

Mother and child, created by Judith Hódos. My favorite in the Amersfoort "Kunstvaarroute". She took an old photograph of herself with her daughter and made "copy" with about 3000 ceramic cups. A beautiful idea to various artforms together.
