I saw a tiny black speck on a white background on my monitor screen until I zoomed in which revealed all the colours of the rainbow apart from where the one dead pixel was!

The resolution is stunning. That is one thing these panels are the best at. A perfect 1:1 pixel mapping at 1080.
This is from my Xbox 360 -- HDMI at 1080p on "Just Scan." Was adjusting the settings on the TV for best viewing -- and I found "Sharpness' set to 0 was the best. The Samsung does not soften the picture at all with Sharpness at 0 -- it just disabled all the horrid "edge enhancement" sharpness introduces.
