Dear customers

This drink jar is a pineapple brothers drink jar that we designed.

and this character is the image character of the Okinawa Summer Festival.

Available on August 5 @ Okinawa Summer Festival

It's been a really rainy fall, the more so the last couple of days. We're fine, but many roads are closed due to flooding and potential landslides. The ground is saturated from what they call a "pineapple express" - tons of rain riding a warm front from Hawaii to the Pacific northwest. It was almost 60 degrees here today, and the snow level in the mountains is up near 10,000 feet (it's usually 4-5000' this time of year). Pineapple expresses are fairly common here, but this one is especially longlasting.

Hubby and I often walk in the rain, but today's continual downpour and high winds were a good excuse to stay inside. I was trying to capture the rain pounding on our deck. No luck with that, but the yellow viburnum was glowing and dancing. The blur is from out-of-focus raindrops on the window.

I was watching a TV programme - (How It's Made) - and I thought of this ... just for a laugh !

While shooting for the Macro Mondays spiky theme .. I was just surprised to see the level of details captured by the phone here .. I couldn't see many of these details with naked eye .. especially that white powder like thing.. not even a spec was visible..so just thought of sharing with you all.

I am wondering if it is anything related to pollination ??? Do let me know if you have an idea. Thanks

over ten years ago I cut the tops off a couple pineapples and planted them in my garden. Every year the fronds continue to grow and survive our 5* Michigan winters. i'm amazed by this and was intrigued this Spring with all the fibrous hairs on my plant. This is a 6 image stack focus of the plant

Thank you everyone who visits. Special thanks for kind comments, awards and faves.

I saw this neat green fence as we were driving around. Pineapples on the newel posts! No, I wasn't driving, for once! LOL! HFF!

I bought this ceramic pineapple some years ago and I wanted to photograph it for a long time... And now it was the chance! 😊

Many thanks to everyone who took the time to view, comment and fave my photo. It’s really appreciated. 😊

This funky little "weed" was like a carpet on the path where I walk the dogs most days. It kind of smells a bit like pineapple, and looks like it too!

So why is it called Pineapple Falls?

This is the Dole Pineapple Boat unloading at the harbor in San Diego. I believe the boat brings up Pineapple from Central America and unloads the containers for shipment all across the U.S.A. I caught this shot through my hotel window one morning on a recent stay in San Diego.

A phenomenal display from a wondrous bulb, Eucomis belongs to the Lily family and calls tropical southern Africa its home.

I discovered this by accident, a garden-centre where they had a whole lot of different items that said 'reduced to clear', I found this one bag, with two bulbs.

Planted them, a bit late but one of them gave me this beauty last Summer.

It seemed to go forever.

Looking forward to this year, hoping the second one, that only 'leafed', will also bloom.

I can recommend this plant, very easy.

Flowers in a natural environment and with natural light.

Have a kind day and thank you for your visit, M, (*_*)
