This photo was taken a few hours ago... I held it against our orange feature wall, hence the crop, so you don't see my hand. Again, this photo is totally unprocessed except for the crop and scaling down. Not even brightness or contrast.

Well two weeks ago I got challanged to be a copy cat ^_^ Find a shot I loved and do something simmilar to it.
Everyone guessed correctly, Anita (Aka. HotBoxer) was the insperation for this shot. She did a stunning shot of Autumn.
I planed to originaly do a railroad track one, but yesterday we went to a new trail never been on before. We went down a rock to the waters edge, Cody was running around and it hit me what I could do. With the sun begind him it was perfect, I always wanted a shot like this.

Day time trek to Ogmore with Molly rain / cloud was weathermans story i got lucky , will return here when the tide is right and will either be a sunrise or sunset .
This was'nt the beach i was planning the tide had not dropped enough and there was a group of approx 12 people waiting to climb down into the small gorge with their teacher so i chose another part of this addictive coastline
So the light was very overcast - no vivid colours today .

Achieved the results i expected , Earth tones, as the tide dropped with some drama in the sky, the light was kind to me as i arrived , been to Ogmore so many times in the last 2 yrs never noticed this rock formation before now .

Un gigantesco incendio sta distruggendo uno dei parchi naturali più belli al mondo: sono almeno undicimila gli ettari distrutti nella riserva di Torres del Paine, nella Patagonia cilena. Difficili gli interventi aerei, anche a causa del forte vento.
Il governo cileno ha inviato sul posto circa seicento persone tra pompieri, specialisti del Genio e guardie forestali, impegnati nel disperato tentativo di riportare le fiamme sotto controllo con l'aiuto di quattro aerei e un elicottero. "Stiamo affrontando una situazione estremamente complessa, uno scenario estremo", ha detto Vicente Nunez, responsabile dell'Onemi, la locale Protezione Civile. Il movimento ecologista 'Accion Ecologica' ha criticato duramente le autorità,definendo "lenta" la risposta all'emergenza e contrapponendola alla rapidità con cui sono state stroncate le recenti proteste studentesche.
Secondo il ministro dell'Ambiente cileno, Maria Ignacia Benitez,ci vorranno tra i 30 e i 50 anni per rimediare ai danni causati dalle fiamme. E' partita un'indagine per fare luce sulle cause dell'incendio, che potrebbe essere scaturito dalla negligenza di un turista.

Caught this awesome lightning bolt while I was chasing thunderstorms with my girlfriend.
So I finally have my lightning shot, I always wanted to capture one. I tried various methods, from long exposure (example 30 seconds) to shorter (2.5 seconds) consecutive shots. This one came out really well on 2.5 seconds exposure. I set the ISO at 400, although I've seen many photographers shoot them at 200, my shots looked greater at 400.
This was shot behind the Sanctuaire du Cap facing the Fleuve St-Laurent, Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada.

But then fed up with misery will take us up and wakes us from unpleasant feelings,
We...we could go out and smell the roses,

When that kind of moment happen, one by one path to walk on will appear in front of us,

It rained last week and swelled the ponds with fresh water near our house. It was teeming with these migratory geese and I was able to get a snaphot right before sunset. I tweaked the exposure during pp enough to isolate the sun and also to enhance the sillohouettes. Temperatures are in the 70's today. A perfect Indian summer. Hope your weekends are going great.

Le feu d’artifice de Kérity (Penmarc'h) a été maintenu et tiré au bout de la jetée (pour cause de canicule et en prévention des risques d'incendie, de nombreux feux d'artifice ont été annulés), il y avait en plus une légère brise poussant les tirs vers le large.
The Kérity (Penmarc'h) fireworks display went ahead as planned and was launched from the end of the jetty (notably, many other displays had been cancelled due to the heatwave and fire risks) and a light breeze helped carry the fireworks out to sea.
Étonnamment (ou pas) l'Iphone s'en est mieux sorti que le Fuji pour les photos de feu d'artifice. Cette photo a été proposée et sélectionnée par le journal "Le Télégramme" pour sa rubrique "L'oeil du photographe" ; mais avec une erreur (du stagiaire ?) il est noté 2023 alors qu'il s'agit bien de 2026.
Surprisingly (or not), the iPhone performed better than the Fuji for fireworks photos. This photo was submitted and selected by the newspaper "Le Télégramme" for its "Photographer's Eye" section; however, there's an error (perhaps by an intern?) indicating 2023 when it should actually be 2026.

Voy a actualizar con una nueva versión este palomar de mi pueblo. Fue la primera y única vez que iba en coche conduciendo y he parado para hacer una foto. Y es que esas nubes es muy extraño encontrarlas así. Eso unido a un palomar precioso creo que hacen una gran foto.
