Thanks for all the comments and favourites. I am actually stunned by it, i never thought it was that good a shot o well :)
As for questions, no this isnt HDR this is good old fashioned filter work, id like to think this approach makes it look more natural like the good old days of film that i am slowly returning to.

Filters used in this shot are- SinghRay ColorCombo(Circular Polariser) along with both a 2 and 3 stop reverse grad filter(handheld) Tripods are essential for this type of shot as well as a third arm if you have one spare :)

Campagna di Nuragus, piccolo centro ai limiti della provincia di Cagliari il cui territorio di poco più di 2000 ettari fa da cuiscinetto tra le pianure del Campidano e l'aspro territorio della Barbagia.

hello, everybody. just popping in to let you know i am still here, even if barely. arrived in Manila last Sunday and now enjoying the company of Arnel, aka lenareh and his family. i hope you all are keeping well. i won't be able to visit your streams at the moment as i don't have much time to be online. in fact, i must sign off now to prepare for the next leg of my visit. on to Daet, Camarines Norte, scene of this jump shot.

Captured at Vandaloor, I am still wondering how I spotted this guy, he was so fast and so deceptive he moves an inch and you won't be able to spot him that easily. My camera was crying to get the focus right and my meter almost failed every other time and the exposure was my biggest challenge, but still I know this shot is worth all the troubles that we went through. Hope you all agree with me, I dedicate this shot to my friend Surendar @ Chittappa who is celebrating his birthday today, happy birthday chittappa. Thanks for all your comments and fav

With the hot summer we all want to escape somewhere quiet and possibly "fresh" ... for me blue of course! This is a beautiful bay protected by the Arrabida mountains (Serra), a natural park very beautiful and full of tranquility (much needed) - I hope you enjoy it and have a great week!

Altezza del fiore: da 5 a 20 centimetri.
Periodo di fioritura: Marzo-Maggio/Agosto-Ottobre.
Caratteristiche: fiori su peduncoli biancastri, senza foglie.
Descrizione: fiori solitari, 6 stami, 3 stili. Le foglie compaiono soltanto la primavera successiva; sono carnose, simili a quelle dei tulipani ed avvolgono la capsula fruttifera.
Habitat e diffusione: prati umidi e boschi riparii; ha bisogno di molti elementi nutritivi e, soprattutto, di azoto; cresce di solito in terreni argillosi, profondi; dal piano fino a 2000 metri.
Generalità: pianta monocotiledone, perenne, velenosa.
L’ovario del colchico si trova in fondo al lungo tubo fiorale, sotto terra. Questa specie ha piante a fiori violetti,piuttosto rari, e piante a fiori bianchi, che rappresentano il 97% circa del totale. Questa percentuale può però variare, nello stesso luogo, di anno in anno.

Probably one of the most photographed, most tourist packed and most overrated locations in Norway, in my opinion.
We were leaving Lofoten when I took this picture. It was a brilliant sunset and I hadn't yet been able to take that "classic" Lofoten picture. When I saw this view here I just stopped and took some pictures, because OF COURSE I need to have something. I think it turned out very well.
My thoughts about Lofoten, well, it's not ideal for travellers who want to sleep in tents. Do yourself a favour and go there with an RV or something like that. Be prepared to not find any parking places, especially in Henningsvær for example. Reine was also full of people and we only found a free parking spot after six in the evening. Other people were parking along the main road but I wasn't brave like them. I already got stuck once on this trip.
I have to say I prefer southern Norway with its majestic fjords and valleys to Lofoten, but Lofoten definitely has a unique look and so, so many bridges.
