South Dakota - corn fields to prairie grassland to badlands to the Black Hills. The Corn Palace. Mount Rushmore. The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Land of Buffalo and Antelope. Hot in the summer and cold in the winter! Many things to many people and something for everyone.

On our way to Wyoming, we drove from one side of South Dakota to the other. Saw antelope by the hundreds, it seemed! However, I didn't stop for a shot - this one is from another trip where South Dakota was the destination!
Another new location for me following my return to Wales. Swathes of wild garlic. Will be going back.

Este serie se la dedico a Maira ya que me ha pedido que subiera algo de Chincho y una de las cosa mas emblematicas es este castillo de los Condes de Chinchon.
Su origen se remonta al siglo XVI.
Ha sufrido constantes modificaciones, hasta llegar a una de principios del siglo XX para acondicionarlo como fábrica de anís.
La fábrica es de mampostería.
Presenta una forma de dos cuerpos rectangulares que se hallan unidos por uno de sus ángulos.
En sus esquinas posee 6 torreones cilíndricos.
Presenta foso de 15 metros de profundidad.
El castillo se eleva sobre un talud.

Looking down the glen towards the Three Sisters of Glencoe, couldn't resist this tenacious little rowan tree clinging to the riverbank... just as the sun popped out for several seconds... a rarity in these parts... lol

La razza Suri è particolarmente pregiata perché la sua fibra è liscia, finissima, brillante come seta e molto rara. La razza Suri, infatti, è in percentuale solo 1% della popolazione mondiale di Alpaca.
