Location: The ranch is located south of Spur, Texas.
Acres: 10,567.32 acres, more or less. The ranch is in two nearby tracts. The north ranch contains approximately 7,146.32 acres and the south ranch contains approximately 3,421 acres. (We have been authorized to sell these ranches individually or as one large ranch unit.)
Terrain: Terrain of the north ranch is varied, being primarily rolling and hilly, sloping to several draws and seasonal creeks. Access: Access to the north ranch is by maintained graded county roads. Access to the south ranch is by paved highway frontage.
Hunting/Recreation: This is an excellent area for wildlife. Whitetail deer, quail and turkey are all very common on the ranch. Migratory birds and feral hogs are also common to the area.
Price: $775.00 per acre for either or both ranches
Remarks: This is a scenic, well located ranch that has been exceptionally well maintained and has been in the same family for over 30 years. This is the first time the ranch has ever been offered for sale.

A deep, steep-walled gorge carved by a river, thick vegetation, rock outcroppings, and waterfalls characterize Lehigh Gorge State Park. The Indian rhino is mostly covered in a thick, silver-brown skin characterized by numerous folds. The upper legs and shoulders are covered in bumps that almost appear to be warts. It has very little body hair. The rhino’s horn reaches a length of between 7 and 24 inches and is made of keratin, the same substance as human fingernails. Just as humans clip their fingernails, rhinos rub their horns to shorten their length. Average height is 5.7 feet and average length is 11.7 feet. Weight ranges from about 4,800 to 6,600 pounds.
Despite the impression given by various books and movies, Indian rhinos usually don’t use their horns as a weapon. Instead, they use their lower incisors.
Although it has been widely believed that rhinos are dangerous and formidable fighters, they usually flee from danger. Male Indian rhinos do fight each other during mating season, although they tend to tolerate other males in their territories in other seasons.
