When multiple unconnected objects are present, the phase unwrapping algorithm sometimes gets confused.

Although the sun is on the other side of Saturn in this dramatic image, some sunlight scatters through the uppermost part of the atmosphere to reach the Cassini spacecraft's cameras.This image was taken at a high phase, or Sun-Saturn-spacecraft, angle of 172 degrees -- meaning Cassini was on the dark side of the planet at the time. Light passing through the atmosphere creates the bright arc seen from the top to the bottom of the image.Saturn's rings, at middle right in the image, show the shadow of the planet being cast upon them. Just below the center of the image the light passing through Saturn's atmosphere is blocked from Cassini by the B ring.The sun is now shining on the northern side of the rings, so the shadow of the rings on the lit side of the planet (away from Cassini) was cast down onto the southern limb of the planet, making the bright arc appear dark near the bottom middle of the image. The presence of the Cassini Division is illustrated in the small bit of scattered light it has allowed through near the bottom of the image.For another dramatic view of Saturn in eclipse, see PIA08329.This view looks toward the northern, sunlit side of the rings from just above the ringplane.The image was taken in visible green light with the Cassini spacecraft wide-angle camera on Feb. 13, 2010. I began Phase I of “Operation American Pub/Tavern Pickled Red Sausage” today. I’m not going to make the mistake I made a few days ago by adding the red food colouring to the brine and winding up with a dark red brine. No, Sir! Never again. Not on my watch!
I cut some skinless sausage up today so it will make it easier to stuff them into the jars. I then covered them with fresh water and added copious quantities of red food grade dye. I shall allow the dye to penetrate overnight and then rinse them thoroughly before I stuff them into jars and add spicy brine and sliced peppers and onions. This way, the brine will be clear and only the sausage will be red.
Some people say that Americans are crazy for eating pickled red sausages in our pubs and taverns. Well, we colonists didn’t fight the British Army at the Battle of Monmouth, New Jersey (about 18 miles from my home) or defeat the English at the Battle of Trenton (~50 miles from me) after General Washington crossed the Delaware on Christmas Eve to be told by the English that we Americans can’t eat pickled red sausage! :-)
All around the towns where I live, there are historical markers that identify what is called, “British Army Retreat Route” to mark the roads they took when they were running from the Colonials with their tails betwixt their legs back to New York Harbour. I smile whenever I see one of those many signs and think to myself, “I bet the English Army didn’t have any of our tavern pickled red sausages when they were running back to General Lord Charles Cornwallis in New York Harbour. :-)
My 2003 Renault Kangoo 1.2-16V Expression MPV Phase II under investigation.
I bought this car in October 2019. It had served me well over the last couple of years till last Sunday the 2nd of March. I was just about to park when suddenly the engine stopped running. Restart wasn't possible. A mechanic from the Dutch car help WegenWacht (Roadside Assistance) was one-and-a-half hours busy searching for the cause. He couldn't find it.
My local mechanic found out in the first minute: the Kangoo had a broken timing belt. End of story.
Within five days I found & bought a new 2003 Kangoo. This week I took off some useful lamp units and other body parts.
And today I sold the body shell to a car scraper. He picked up my old Kangoo today.
The Renault Kangoo was introduced in October 1997. It is technically related to the 1998-2012 Clio II X65.
Development of the Kangoo project was accelerated in 1996 when Patrick Lecharpy (Fr., 1963) came on board as project manager. Freelance designer Lecharpy was employed at Renault since 1990, when his design studio Design Mobilize was incorporated by Groupe Renault. Mobilize and Lecharpy are known for their Renault Twizy, the first-ever fully electric urban crossover vehicle.
The Kangoo received a face-lift in Spring 2003. A AWD version became available in 2002.
Other variants of the Kangoo were the Grand Kangoo (a long version) end a small commercial panel van. A joint-venture with Nissan delivered the 2003-2009 Nissan Kubistar panel van.
