At the end of the autumn term, parents and carers of phase two children were invited to see work produced for the Winter exhibition. Year three presented their responses to the climate crisis; year four produced a museum exhibition showcasing their investigations into ancient Egypt; year five showed off vehicles produced as part of their 'How high, how far, how fast?’ project; year six took up residency in The Clipper on Union Street to respond to the question: ‘What does community mean to us?’ This fantastic event was really well attended and the children really enjoyed showing off the results of their learning through the term. A big thank you to all involved!
I probably use too much Painter's Tape when I do these things, but they turn out so sexy, I really can't complain.

Construction Phase
---
The Milton–Madison Bridge (historically known as the Harrison Street Bridge) is a continuous truss bridge that connects Milton, Kentucky and Madison, Indiana.
Built by J.G. White Engineering Corp., construction was started in 1928, and completed in 1929, at the cost of $1,365,101.84. It was opened for traffic on December 20, 1929. Originally a toll bridge, on November 1, 1947 at noon the toll was removed.
The original bridge (pictured here) had a deck width of a mere 20 feet (6.1 m), and above the deck the vertical clearance was 16.8 feet (5.1 m).

as usual by the time I make it to the end. I can't see anything but the flaws... namely that there's a lack of perspective at the bottom and a few other places. the shading is a little weak in spots but its done but only cuz I'm tired of working on it everday for the last week or so

The tripod arrived and the legs are bendable ! There’s a second part on order that should hold the flashlight to it, until then rubber bands work.

Taken for the Scavenger Hunt, through a window
This is one of my favourite shops, I love their clothes, though I can't afford to buy many. Today there was a gorgeous blue party dress in the window and a red evening gown hanging inside the shop..
