Best viewed large. All rights reserved. I found a most unusual flower in my backyard. It is called Phantom (Snow) Orchid. It has no photosynthesis capabilities and absorbs nutrients from the forest duff aided by a fungus in its roots. The plant is totally off white with a wee bit of yellow deep in the flower.
