A black and white conversion with the smallest of colour pops on this F-4J Phantom of 301 Hikotai as the crew pull some G`s after a simulated straffing dive on the airfield at Hyakuri during the Air Festival in Dec 2019
I found this rock pile while out for a drive in southern Utah in the fall of 2017, but I didn't end up taking this panorama until I was at this same location about 6 months later, last spring. It's hard to imagine the scale, but that boulder in the left foreground was about 3 meters high. In other words, huge. I had hoped that the spring would give me a great view of the Milky Way at this spot, and it didn't disappoint. You can see Jupiter in the upper right, and Saturn is just peeking around the butte on the right side.
The Unisphere is a metallic globe in NYC with a shiny surface. It reflects the happenings of Columbus Circle and this is a small detail from the surface which shows faces of passing New Yorkers!
If you take away the camera from a photographer it usually takes a long time until (s)he notices it.

Blushing Phantom (Cithaerias pireta) - El Oro Province, Ecuador
In my opinion this butterfly has one of the best common names ever, the blushing phantom! This aptly named butterfly can only be found in the darkest, dampest, most shady parts of the jungle. They tend to only appear during twilight hours and rarely in groups, spending the rest of their time hidden in the vegetation this is a rather secretive little butterfly. Even when active this butterfly chooses densely vegetated areas, it will seek out rotting fruit and fungi on the forest floor. Its a mystery what exactly their young feed on but sources say that they likely feed on the same thing as other butterflies in their family so on monocotyledons; such as grasses, palms, bamboos, sedges, rushes, orchids & lilies.
At certain angles its wings seem almost transparent, but with the right light and angle they can really light up!

Hey there, the new ship from my favourite Galaxy On Fire game series is finally done :) Opposite to Nemesis, which was built in only 3 evenings, this one was started back in October and slowly got its look through many small and big changes, until I was more or less satisfied with it. This heavy fighter is one of the ultimate ships in the game and has its bulky-like style from an older terran ship, the simple Phantom. The LEGO model got some changes from its initial prototype, but was still heavily inspired by it.

Yet another corpus Rahkshi moc, surprisingly with a lot more Technic actually in it. Phantom is a very child-like Rahkshi, having no past prior to waking up on Nynrah.
This'll be the last moc for the foreseeable future now, I'm going to be trying to figure out my future, and, ho boy, is that going to be fun.
