wanted to make use of my roses that were way past their prime. kind of difficult holding, firing, throwing petals! the dog was eating the ones that fell on the ground..ick..

it's withered now, but most petals are clinging to the flower instead of falling to the ground. The only one of my agapanthus-set, which isn't "on white".

I took this macro at Jerry's house while I was over trying to capture some of his crazy slime mold he has brewing in his mulch. This is a flower of some sort, I don't remember what type it is at the moment... a rose I think. It was pink.
I hope you like these new black and white photos. I'd like to explore this a little more I think.

I love this flower. Taken at my neighbors house, the butterfly shaped petals really caught my eye. Tried to get the focus on the center of the flower. Not a flower expert, so if anyone can tell me what kind of flower this is, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, I tried to crop it so you could see the white "butterflies" as well as the purple.
