We had the chance to take some pictures in the mountain today before sunset. It was fun! :)

Flowers have petals. Baby boys loves to touch petals. They love to put petals in their mouths.

Pink Petals

This beautiful soft pink flower is decorated with Swarovski crystals. Various shapes and sizes create lovely texture and shine. (the photograph truly doesn't do this piece justice..it REALLY SPARKLES in person)

Feminine and soft these make the perfect accessory for weddings and any other special events. Classic and beautiful this can be worn with everything! Approximately 3 inches around. Double prong clip secures this piece in any hair style.

Bob's mom keeps a glorious flower garden. Next time I'm over there, I plan on photographing the crap out of it. Today we were busy watching "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" but I managed to snap a few pictures here and there.

Sticking with my intention to work on small projects, I looked at my copy of "One Skein " and decided to knit the Petal Bib.

I just love the texture and detail of these plants.

this is a real house...not a doll's house

I was getting antsy by not being able to go outside and take photos. Our weather has been so bitterly cold that it is actually dangerous to be outside in it for very long. (they've canceled school here more this year than the entire 15 years all three of my kids were in this school system).

So, while I was at the grocery store today, I bought myself a couple small bouquets of flowers. All of these were shot in my kitchen, on my cluttered stove top, using the LED flashlight app on my smartphone as the light source. Using that as a light source gave the flowers their truest colors. The ambient light caused the purple flower to appear pink!

I had the flashlight app on and I'd focus, then pick up the light and rest the edge of my phone against my lens. I'd move it higher or lower, depending on how I wanted it lit. I think it gave a great lighting effect!

My two gorgeous little nephews were less interested in mum & dad getting married, and more interested in pushing rose petals down between the gaps in the wharf. Oh to be a kid again....

When i managed to open the drawer, i'm immersed in a loud noise of water and in it i have found heaps of old letters and dried petals.

In the box of memories a tangle of old photos and ties were intertwined between crumpled paper.

Hey there sunshine!

Don't let me down

Hey there sunshine!

Please come around

Hey there sunshine!
