The flowering trees are beautiful but soon the petals do fall and we go on to other sights in the yard.

I do not remember what flower these petals were from!

The signs of decay are evident on the flesh of these lush, pink and white rhododendron petals that litter a stone staircase.

I think these are also a version of blossoms? They got the right colour.

the petals look almost metallic

Fallen petals on the cobblestoned sidewalks of Beacon Hill (or, the brick sidewalks?)

Porque pétalas são lindas

I'm walking to the JR station to catch a train to Shibuya when there's this sudden gust of wind and a crack of thunder off in the distance. Cherry blossom petals rained down from the trees on either side of the road, and for a couple of minutes it looked almost like it was snowing. Beautiful.

Fuchsia flower petal; heart shaped (:

Taken on the first night of summer.

One of the petals for a flower cane

Stone steps lined with pink blossoms. Chinese gardens in the Montreal Botanical Gardens. May 2008.

if you know the names of these flowers please comment them below.

This rose petal was lying on the pavement as I passed by...the colour still strong, but it will soon disappear.

As the falling petals floated on the water they became translucent and showed up their wing like structure.
