I was at a week-long meditation retreat. I did another one five months ago, but the only thing the two weekthuns had in common is the actual practice. This week I rushed home every night so I could sleep eight hours and rush back to meditate all day again. I'm not really living as fully in the moment as I could be, because any time that something happens I've already experienced all I care to of it and I'm over it. By the time it was December 25, I felt like it was already Martin Luther King Day at least.

I used some 2x4 for the bracing on the back because nobody will see it anyway. The supports (there are two) go horizontal and the whole board is screwed onto the wall through the peg holes, through the 2x4, into studs.

I think this rug may have to live in the sewing room for awhile since Riley can only be allowed near it with careful superivsion! It turned out really well and is VERY squooshy.

My back garden a few years ago

This metal peg sticks out from the wall of the old farm on the Muirshiel Country Park near Lochwinnoch. Strangely the number of the photo was 1960 which must have been about the time the farm was last inhabited judging by the contents.

I made Kimmy (Lennox) a peg leg out of epoxy, painted it with nailpolish and decorated it with nail art studs. I also made the hat, sword and eyepatch myself. Face-up was done by me. Lea (Vega) was done by Latidoll, she is a full set.

This Bug was on our washing line.

This was taken at Daroga State Park last summer. We watched the osprey for a couple of summers while staying at the park and this was the first time I got a good shot of the osprey bringing breakfast. This shot was taken with my Nikon D3200 with an AF-S Nikkor 28-300 mm lens.
