¿¿ Aracnofobia yo ??
He leido que para superar las fobias
hay que seguir algunos pasos y pautas.
Uno de ellos es aceptar el temor ( en mi caso pánico)
Seguir un trabajo gradual y poco a poco....
(Hasta ahi.....bien.....y la modelo pequeñita para empezar.)
Otro de los pasos, es tomar medidas
para combatir "cara a cara el temor."......
y en un arranque de valentía eso hice,
un face to face frente a una de mis peores pesadillas .
Lo malo vino después....cuando empezaba a relajarme....,
pegó un saltó y no volvi a verla...... S.O.S.
Ahi mi fobia se desató incontrolablemente ¡¡¡¡
Creo que tardaré en volver a intentarlo de nuevo.:-((

Coucher de soleil à Punta Indio
Punta Indio es un pintoresco pueblo ubicado sobre la costa del Río de la Plata, pegado a la ruta 11, en el partido homónimo. Es, turísticamente hablando, la localidad más importante del distrito. Se encuentra a 160 km de Buenos Aires.
Punta Indio est un village pittoresque situé sur la côte du Rio de la Plata , collé à la route 11 et dans le partido homonyme. Touristiquement c'est la localité la plus importante du district. Elle se trouve à 160 km de Buenos Aires.

Smile on Saturday theme: clothes pegs

Plenty of semaphore and locomotive assets on display at Peak Forest in this shot which hasn't previously seen the light of day.
The camera time says 5.12am but, given a more relaxed approach about changing it back then, it might just be an hour later. Either way it was pretty early and the morning mist still hadn't lifted.
I didn't ID the number of the Shed disappearing towards Great Rocks but one of the two Tugs in the frame is 60010, and the Shed at far right is 66009.
The signalman can be seen standing in the box, probably waiting to throw the levers back.

La iglesia arciprestal de la Asunción de Nuestra Señora de Pego es el más importante templo católico de esta localidad, de estilo renacentista, construida en el siglo xvi sobre las ruinas de otra iglesia más pequeña, realizada a su vez sobre los restos de la mezquita de Uxola.
Carece de grandes corrientes de agua: el río Gallinera se perdía antes de llegar al mar, en la actualidad está encauzado hasta el mar; el río Bullent, conocido también como riu de la Revolta, sirve de límite natural con el término de Pego, y, tras recibir las aguas del Racons, se convierte en el río Molinell, que divide los términos de Oliva y Denia antes de desembocar en el Mediterráneo
CN haulage train #340 curves through the Plum River interlocking plant on the east side of Savanna, IL from April 25, 1993. The locomotives for the 75-car train was a set of Duluth, Winnipeg & Pacific SD40s. The railroad was known as "The Peg"--short for Winnipeg. The DW&P 5906, 5909 and 5903 are winding up for the climb up out of the Mississippi River valley as they head east on the Aurora Sub for Chicago.
I have my washing on a clothes horse indoors as weather is unpredictable. Mind you it was lovely yesterday and beautiful sunshine streaming into my kitchen. I couldn’t resist this shot as the green of the peg was illuminated by the sun.
MM the small peg is just 4cm long the smaller peg is 3cm long total of both pegs in the shot is 6.3cm.
Macro Mondays 'junk drawer' theme.
I don't have much of a junk drawer anymore as after a huge clear out a couple of years ago I now try not to keep stuff that 'might be useful one day'. However I did find these mini pegs, once used for pegging Christmas cards to string.

I don't know about you, but pegs were like socks here, they kept disappearing. We use these stainless steel ones these days, they last forever and don't rust. Must be better for the environment I guess.
There is a big bonus with these ones as opposed to the old, coloured plastic ones - you don't have to match the same colour pegs for any given piece of washing, preferably the same colour as the item of washing if possible. You just can't have 2 different coloured pegs on the same piece of washing, it's simply wrong! Or is it just me who is OCD like that? And don't get me started on stacking the dishwasher, suffice to say that if my wife stacks it, I unstack and restack ........... ;)
These guys still aren't lawn mower-proof unfortunately and I suspect that was the fate of the old plastic and wood ones.
