57603 is surrounded by pegs heading south out of Truro working the Paddington to Penzance sleeper. This is one of the few angles to catch the near peg, other than crossing the yellow line, without it being obscured by the 60 sign.
My interpretation for the Macro Mondays theme of "Fasteners" and I chose to go with Pegs.
I already have a similar shot further down in my photostream which was taken for a different group and I chose to recreate this for my upload today.
Three pegs hanging on our washing line. It had been raining outside but the washing line was down and the pegs were in our shed so after setting up I sprayed them with water to match the conditions outside.
My other photo of Pegs was shot in black and white, had 5 pegs and was not a macro so here I had to make sure I was focussed for the 3 inch rule and decided to go with 3 pegs and have Red, Green and Blue.
Reminiscent of the century old Stave Churches of Norway, we decided to peg, instead of nail our gable shingles. We utilized 25 year old re-purposed TEAK for all of the exterior wood applications. Should be woodpecker-proof.
Searching the shelves in our basement laundry/storage room, I came upon a little box of plastic, multicolored board game pegs. The game board that they belonged to was nowhere in site. Still, I instantly recognized them as pieces from a board game. While my wife and I both had vague recollections of playing a game with these pieces, neither of us could immediately dredge up the name of the game. Fortunately, with the help of a little internet sleuthing, we were finally able to pin it down to MASTERMIND.

This peg leg set is unrigged but comes in male and female sizes (calf sizes vary widely). They are easily adjustable as the cloth wrapping at the top is a separate object from the leg itself. The peg leg stops just below the bend of the knee.
There's three types included as well for variety. One with the coral and barnacles, another with just barnacles, and one with plain wood. A HUD is included to change the color of the coral (12 colors) and also the animated eyes inside the barnacles (4 colors).
