Moschino resort 2011, look #3. The designer bombarded a biddy’s boxy bouclé jacket with charm: pearlescent orbs, polka dot cuffs & pocket handkerchief. Exposed double zippers pulled with bows are sweetly edgy. Think Pink like Kay Thompson in Funny Face: simple slips watercolored rose complement this special piece… Fashionshesays.com.
This particular AC Cobra Replica was in amazing condition when it was spotted as an exhibit at the 2013 Classic Transport Gathering at Crich Tramway Village in Derbyshire, on the 26th August 2013. This particular Pilgrim Sumo was made back in 2003 and it was first registered in the UK, in the same year, on the 1st of April 2003 so presumably has lived in the UK all its life. This one does have its original engine according to the DVLA, a 5.7 Litre (5700cc) V8 engine which runs on petrol. This particular car when seen had been given pearlescent paint, and this is the paint that changes colour depending upon the angle of viewing, this paint costs around £1000 a litre.

To me they resemble cell division. Heavily pearlescent.
BLINGTASTIC! I need to wear sunshades when looking at those wheels! LOL. Apart from the wheels this is actually a very nicely cast and detailed little model by Realtoy of the Porsche Cayenne. Well finished too in this pearlescent white colour. Bought from Tesco as part of their Mini Series range. Mint and boxed.
two tone, iridescent, pearl finish, lilac, silver, pastel... whatever you want to call the ink job, it was the happiest accident. it changes colours.

Gorgeous luxury bespoke wedding guestbook.
Beautiful wedding guest book with satin pink ribbon Dior bow, diamante, pearlescent card, built-in pen. Handmade by Perfect Day Weddings London www.perfectday-weddings.co.uk
Before I even began designing the invitation set, I started with a moodboard as usual to make sure the client is on board with the design direction. This wedding is in November, she had fall-like colors, but she didn't want an Autumn, leaf theme. She wanted to embrace certain rustic elements, but rather communicate elegance, sophistication and have it be warm + inviting for her guests. And my design solution to her visual concerns was "An Enchanted November" wedding theme.
For the invitation, the key defining element that will be branded across all wedding components is the "H" monogram which stands for the groom's last name. To make it as unique as possible for Stephanie + Justin, I deconstructed the letter "H" by replacing the connecting bar with a graphic branch. I created depth and interest by playing with rich, deep gradients composed of the mocha + cranberry hues. The 11.11.11 date is written in a classy, but in a not-so-stuffy script typeface below the monogram in the invitation set.
The main invite is a one-folded card with a loose, self mailer RSVP card. For the typography, I wanted it to be soft + bold, and have it flow + move by using different opacity levels. Also, I broke it up by having the information across two pages.
Printing Specs: One-folded Card + Response Card were 4C/4C, Digital on Citi Paper USA, Autumn Hay, 98C weight paper. Adhesive label was also 4-Color, Digital, but printed on standard adhesive paper that wasn't iridescent for cost efficiency.
No printing on the chocolate A7 envelope as per the original design; client opted for addressed labels where she could get custom calligraphy done in chocolate ink. Also, I provided the client with the "H" monogram art file so she could get custom matching stamps.

4x12 inch mixed media painting on stretched canvas
Pearlescent varnish makes the color "shift" as it turns in the light. Very unique.
Striving for Raw & Organic natural designs, my "Art Gem" series has given me some of my most satisfying results. Each one is unique, with patterns that reflect beautiful natural flowing elements.
The technique I use to make these result in paintings that are everything from electric, wild & full of movement to calm surreal dreams. Some have described them as topo maps from a distant colorful planet, and like the outer reaches of another galaxy.
A series of small format abstract paintings. Very raw & organic with unique textures, colorful finishes & vivid imagery.
Made with layers of custom mixed acrylic & pearlescent paints, inks, powders, varnishes & 18k gold leafing liquid.
Modern original abstract painting art gems. Mixed material on canvas.
This series is taking off as people are getting into the idea of making their own custom arrangement by grouping several of these together.

An announcement invitation for The Apareció Foundation, a charity event that was hosted last month called Diamonds in the Rough which showcased the Hasana luxury jewelry & accessory line. The overall design of the invite reflected the name of the event. Beautiful gems of jewelry were showcased and juxtaposed against roughage of dried branches and foliage. The one-folded invited was printed on a pearlescent off-white paper to match the sunburst orange A2 envelope. Coincidentally, the iridescent paper also gave the jewelry that extra little sparkle especially to the teardrop crystal necklace on the front.

This figure is of an Elin, a race from the TERA: The Exiled Realm of Arborea MMORPG. She is around 26cm in height, base included. Her sukumizu is the Very Old-Type, with a name tag that has the name written out.
A large and painstakingly-detailed figure, it features a widely popular (and controversial) race from the game. Instead of featuring a particular character, it instead features a potential avatar that the player must customize to achieve. This is very unusual and really speaks to the popularity of this race.
She is a Berserker class and is wielding an axe with the Gargantalon skin, called "cursed death scythe" (呪縛のデスサイズ) in the Japanese version. She has a large oval mirror base with a hidden metal rod that inserts into her right foot. Her massive weapon extends out even farther from the base.
Measuring her actual height - taking account her bent position, extended heel and not measuring her ears - she would be roughly 27cm tall standing. This is taller than my 1/6 scale figures, and even almost as tall as some of my 1/5 scales. Considering the Elin is a small race in comparison to humans, I would estimate she is around 1/5 or 1/4.5 scale.
Her sukumizu has a glossy, liquid quality and is superbly sculpted like the rest of the figure. Even the name tag its own model with varying depth. Her skin has a subtle pearlescent texture, giving it a radiant glow. Her hair is quite detailed with lock carefully rendered and placed to show motion. The axe features metallic paint and is just as thoroughly modeled as the actual character.
This is quite simply the most epic sukumizu figure I own. She features an unparalleled combination of winning elements. For one thing, I happen to be quite fond of the Elin race. They have completely flat chests, large shapely hips and thighs, and large moe heads, a unique body type that I find attractive. As an added bonus this is a mimikko race, and I am very pleased with the choice of bunny for this figure. Not only is her hair style elegant and lolita-inspired, but it's also carnation pink, one of my favorite hair colors for anime-style girls.
Her pose is graceful and dynamic, her weapon is as beautiful as it is menacing. Though subtle, the figure features a rainbow of colors that is instantly pleasing to look at. And her sukumizu being the Very Old-Type has an unmistakable signature from all angles. A glossy sukumizu is usually not my preference, but as meticulous as the wrinkle details are, it is of a high caliber that is rarely seen among these types of figures. For this size and price point, the quality is really astounding. The defects that regularly plague mass-produced PVC figures (seam lines, paint errors, etc.) are very scarce and careful examination is necessary to find any.
There is a variant of this figure featuring a white sukumizu. There is also variant of this figure that features alternate attire (armor) and a different type of axe.

A dying tree stands on what was the old tilting yard for Rosslyn Castle, hollowed-out by the vandalism of decades of small camp fires at its base. Some of its siblings on the bank of the River North Esk have succumbed already and lie quietly as they are consumed by brigades of pearlescent fungi. Man planted this tree in what was a wild wood (of whose character can still be found here) and man is slowly destroying it.
This ancient tree now bears witness to its successors; whole areas of invasive foreign species such as Himalayan Balsalm (shown here) and Japanese Knotweed - more destructive introductions by man whose whims & well-intentioned interventions are almost always made at the cost of the natural ecosystem.
Perhaps my own chemical-battle with these invasives may ultimately be seen in the same way at some point in the future?
