Patrick Wolf is going to be as big as Bright Eyes, mark my words. Pairing acoustic singer-songwriter stuff with dance arrangements, revering nature like William Blake but in the same time looking like he's from the city with his self-made clothes and his dandy moves.
The cheers of the girls were uncontrolled, the boys looked in awe. Is this a new myth in the making?

One (of the many) amiable qualities of my dear friend Patrick (above) resides in his fondness for clothing himself in rather odd garb. If i'm not mistaken his hat came from Russia and his shirt, actually I don't remember where his shirt came from, but it's rather odd and amazing as well. I think when photographers always photograph people with their brands names visible and shinning it has a tendency to place the image into a slot on the grand timeline of time. Now most certainly there is a place for that, a job or piece your working on that requires a definability that comes from the one being photographed. A need for when and where he came from to be notice instantly, but I don't think that need is ever present. In most of my work I enjoy having the image depict a person who's a little harder to place. The point in time depicted in the image might have been frozen last week or last decade. I like the viewer to have to work to discover when it was taken. For them to puzzle over it in there ambiguity. American Eagle has the tendency to destroy that moment.

In the 90’s France had the pop phenomenon Bruelmania! - After rocketing to fame as an actor, the Algerian-born Patrick Bruel (1959) went on to launch a phenomenally successful career on the European music scene. Thanks to his striking good looks and personal charisma, Bruel has become the idol of a whole generation of teenage girls. He made five studio albums and several live albums, and acted in more than 40 different television and film productions. He is also a professional poker player.
St.Patrick's this year is rather subdued for obvious reasons so not much debauchery goes on to take photos of , at least not that I saw any, so I decided to give it a fresh air outing to 2 older pics, this taken last year in Howick. I feel (modestly) this wonderful pic needs more appreciation and praise compared to what it's received so far.
The tune to mark the occasion is one of the most beautiful songs I know sung by one of the best female singers I know, and what do you know? both the song and the singer are Irish! funny that
Patrick is the first of my awesome friends to have gotten married. Just last week he and his now wife, Karina, made it official. This couple is truly a unique one, and Patrick and Karina could not be more suited for one another. It was an awesome day, in every way.
The reception was at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, followed by an evening time reception at a restaurant in Millbrae.
I guess there was just one hiccup throughout the day. The bridal party seems to have set the music machine on fire (literally) with our mad awesome gangnam style dance. So a large part of the reception did not have any music -I think this was also really nice though, in the sense that everyone at the tables seemed to mingle more with one another, being that they could not use music as an excuse to not talk to one another.
All in all a great day. A day that will go down in the books for all of us, I'm sure.
