I have a birthday coming up and my hubby decided to give me an early present. An iPad! Lucky me, hey? So of course I had to make it a cover. I decided to do some scrap busting (even the stamped bits were leftover scraps from practice stamping) and tried quilt-as-you-go which was fun. I used the tutorial by OneShabbyChick: oneshabbychick.typepad.com/one_shabby_chick/2011/01/an-ip... for the case which is great! I think I like it!

A custom patchwork quilt a client ordered. I love making these quilts. So simple yet so gorgeous :) I used Denyse Schmidt's Sugar Creek prints for both the backing and binding.

I love patchwork quilts so that's what I decided to do with my Munki Munki flannel pieces. It's pretty busy with lots to look at but I love it! :) Every square is Munki Munki, either old or new designs.
Thanks to all the fabulous ladies who sent me most of these flannels!
For the BQS. Any advice on borders/binding? I am thinking just a binding as it is so 'lively'. What do you think - a solid? Or something dotty? More info and questions here:

Finally finished my x plus quilt that has been about 3.5 months in the making. It's the largest quilt I’ve done so far at 70x90". There are 1,197 pieces of fabric on the front and 19 on the back, with additional pieces in the scrappy binding!

I spent two days sewing this pillow case. My fingers are feeling a bit numb after intense sewing. Check out my blog if you want to know more about my sewing projects.
