24 inch pillow top for my son's girlfriends birthday. She loves these colors so I used up the scraps from my Pillowtalk project
A custom patchwork quilt a client ordered. I love making these quilts. So simple yet so gorgeous :) I used Denyse Schmidt's Sugar Creek prints for both the backing and binding.

I love patchwork quilts so that's what I decided to do with my Munki Munki flannel pieces. It's pretty busy with lots to look at but I love it! :) Every square is Munki Munki, either old or new designs.
Thanks to all the fabulous ladies who sent me most of these flannels!
started at wonky triangle night at the cache valley modern quilt guild. made with bella solids charm pack & white charm pack.
For the BQS. Any advice on borders/binding? I am thinking just a binding as it is so 'lively'. What do you think - a solid? Or something dotty? More info and questions here:

Finally finished my x plus quilt that has been about 3.5 months in the making. It's the largest quilt I’ve done so far at 70x90". There are 1,197 pieces of fabric on the front and 19 on the back, with additional pieces in the scrappy binding!

Have long admired the fearless patchwork style of quarter inch mark/Chase, as seen here and elsewhere in her photostream:

She made a four-part tutorial for making this type of quilt as you go patchwork and for using it to make tote bags:

She also has a group:

The way she uses Japanese designer fabrics in a free-spirited, very pleasing way is something I aspire to. This is my first attempt at her style. It's quilt-as-you-go, and I had a lot of fun doing it.
Also learned a LOT about quilt as you go from Penny at:

Fabrics are all Suzuko Koseki and Kumiko Fujita except for one Denyse Schmidt (from Katie Jump Rope) and one unknown (the little cherries). All were scraps, and the zipper is recycled.
Other Flickr sewists have done some great pieces in Chase's style, like

what they've made, too!
I spent two days sewing this pillow case. My fingers are feeling a bit numb after intense sewing. Check out my blog if you want to know more about my sewing projects.
