Partner this ended up being a large pouch (I know I can't seem to make small ones) it is 12" x 8" which means if you have an ipad you can always use it for that. I reinforced it with Decor bond so it is not flimsy.

Then she sent it to me! I feel so honored! Isn't it just the most incredible fussy cutting and piecing ever? She combined modern fabrics with lots of feedsack and vintage and outlined some of the sections with gorgeous glossy silk thread, which is a fun, cute touch, too. Loooove it! I have a birthday coming up and my hubby decided to give me an early present. An iPad! Lucky me, hey? So of course I had to make it a cover. I decided to do some scrap busting (even the stamped bits were leftover scraps from practice stamping) and tried quilt-as-you-go which was fun. I used the tutorial by OneShabbyChick: oneshabbychick.typepad.com/one_shabby_chick/2011/01/an-ip... for the case which is great! I think I like it!
