I printed a bunch of these pumpkin patch photos out for my dad and we decorated his hospital room with them while he was there. I think they gave him something to talk to the nurses about.

Patch I made for Sarah as a going away gift. The star is appliqued on and there is some tulle action that doesn't really come out in this photo.

This is 'Shine On' Created by: Magpie Castle who is in Cathedral Sq. December 2020 Christchurch New Zealand
Design Inspiration
‘Shine On’ features recycled mirror and paint – this artist is always drawn to shiny things to create for her imaginary Magpie Castle. Having covered a few items of furniture with mirror mosaic around her house, she thought it was fitting to do the same to the white belly of the hoiho penguin. The mirror mosaic also serves as a metaphor for the species to shine on and to hopefully recover from the brink of extinction. The name ‘Shine On’ was voted the favourite by Facebook followers of sponsors, Terra Cat.
All About the Penguins
Wild in Art is bringing a second sculpture trail to Christchurch on 29 November 2020. In partnership with Presenting Partner, Harcourts and with the support of many other sponsors and funders, Pop Up Penguins will give residents and visitors a fresh opportunity to discover and delight in all that makes ÅŒtautahi special.
The public art trail will include 50 large penguin sculptures, sponsored by companies and decorated by established and emerging artists, along with 65 little penguins, decorated by schools as part of the Pop Up Penguins Learning Programme.
All decorated penguins will be displayed across Christchurch on a public art trail that will celebrate all the unique parts of our city. The penguins will highlight themes like climate change, community, Antarctica, creativity, innovation and exploration.
After nine weeks, out and about in Christchurch, the street sized penguins will be auctioned to raise money for Cholmondeley Children’s Centre.

You may have seen the "Secret Squirrel" patch around. There's even one clearly visible in the movie Zero Dark Thirty. You can get them, in many colors and materials from Milspec Monkey.
But I designed them. And for a few years, bought hundreds at a time, took orders from locals and obscure military/government/police forums (the US Secret Service were particular fans) and mailed them out. Eventualy, I got tired of this, so gave it to Money Boy to deal with instead.
The tenth patch on the jacket was produced by www.slimymudhole.com and given away at Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando, Florida in August 2012. It features a worse for wear green Jedi master doing what I'll be doing plenty of at Star Wars Celebration Europe II ... downing a frothy beer! It's in the middle left hand section of the main panel of the back of the jacket.
One of those typical cuban finds. This one was while walking after a delicious lunch on the Miramar neighborhood which according to a cab driver, used to be the place where the rich lived. The architecture around it still tells they had great houses, it's a pity it's all falling apart now.

On day four of my train journey across Canada by VIA rail. October 2018. We are seeing lots of snow now.
The window are not very clean so the photos are not that good. Also the train was speeding along at times and really bumpy. I have put all the photos I took on my journey on Flickr as a record of my trip.
