Mrs PB's the main pastry chef in the Land of the Bed; but Mr Fox is rather talented too. His pies after-all are legendary!
Tonight, in part of his festive initiative, he baked a fine selection of resident sized mince pies.
Unfortunately, as with all good things, there weren't quite enough! Not even for their to be one for him!
A lovely little French patisserie in South Melbourne. Next time, I'm coming back for the eclair, the macarons, and the buttery croissants!

Chez Dre's eclairs are examples of this fresh style and are the more amazing for it. Firstly, they're beautiful, each bite full of different textures - the salted-butter caramel, the choux-and-shortcrust pastry. Inside that is salted-butter caramel mousse with roasted walnuts and on top, a perfectly piped wave of caramel-infused chantilly cream and a whole walnut, glazed with a lick of honey.

This remarkable work of art was the most visually stunning entry in the 17th Annual US Pastry Competition. It recieved 3rd place, but I think it should have won best of show. The judges spent over 30 minutes discussing it in detail.

Students in ACC's Pastry Arts program had the opportunity to study French pastry arts in Yssingeaux, France at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie (ENSP). They brought their skills back with them to Texas for a Pastry Arts Grand Buffet, enjoyed by friends and family of the students.
