IORY's southbound passes a unusually green field for the winter months. The train will soon enter the town of Jackson Center, Ohio.

The Tall Ship Glenlee heading back to Glasgow after her dry dock refit in Greenock. She is seen here passing Dumbarton Rock and Castle. You can just make out the floodlights of Dumbarton F.C's Strathclyde Homes Stadium, home of the marvellous Sons of the Rock, so marvellous that they are currently at the bottom of the Scottish Second Division and, unless they get their act together, in danger of being relegated (again!)

A Cross Country Voyager is approaching Prestonpans as it passes a Virgin East Coast Trains 225 set sitting in the loop.
The 22X Voyager is heading the 0609 Bath Spa - Glasgow Central, 1S35.
The 225 set with 91115, seen at the rear of the set, had worked 1S04 from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh Waverley. It then worked 5S04 1137 Edinburgh Waverley - Prestonpans U P L where it sits till 1319. It runs from here to Edinburgh Waverley as 5E19 and works south on 1E19, 1430 to London Kings Cross.

A DPU on a empty gasoline train rolls under one of the remaining searchlights on the old Santa Fe just west of Ft. Madison IA. Their days are numbered as their replacements are up and ready to be put into service for the BNSF. 9/28/19

Yesterday during a talk by Andrey Polikanov (of the Russian Reporter Magazine and the last WPP jury) he talked about the 10b processing style... Well, I got a look at their portfolio, and I must say that I do not like that look on all except two or three pics, for me it's a bit too, how should I say it? ...to un-subtle!
I prefer the pics to look natural, to breathe by themselves, rather than scream processing, regardless of the amount of work that went into them!
IMHO, if you can see the hard work of the "printer" in a print then that work is wasted.
