CSX No. 5327 is the Western Maryland emblem locomotive, but I didn't know that until this train was passing me. It is leading westbound stack train No. 157 at Perry, Ohio, passing the rear of an eastbound intermodal train.

The Ballachulish ferry and the bridge that replaced it in 1975.

Passing Ais Gill in lovely weather 47536 works a diverted Glasgow to Euston train. I seem to recall these diversions would go on for several weekends - happy days!

A barreling rain cloud tracks north over the Cotswolds on 28th July 2018, bringing to an end the weeks of blistering hot weather. The storms were very localised. What was formerly Le Marchant Barracks in Devizes is now converted into accommodation. Stagecoach West e400 15972 YP14GZB is seen on November 3rd 2018 heading into town from Swindon.

Just before 66101 with 6E30 comes into sight, 1S20, Kings Cross - Aberdeen gets the green light. Timed to perfection I capture the rear of the HST with the front of 66101 at Inveresk. 6/8/14 at 1817

Camden Market ~ London

Passing a stretch of immaculate new reinforced embankment adjacent to Munton Maltings at Stowmarket the well loaded DBC intermodal dodges the lengthening winter shadows.

The best I could get after a long walk along the spit with an icy cold north wind on Thursday afternoon. I have never seen the water as rough on the land side of the spit.

Make shift checkers game set next to old building around Marbry Mill

This picture was taken in July 1984 and it can be seen compared to the previous picture that reeds have taken over a third to a half of the pond's water surface. The valley bottom here collected rainwater that ran off the steep sided valley.

Before the ponds were built to exploit it, this area was the watershed of the valley floor, a marsh drained by what is now Pow Beck that ran (and still does run) both ways, one leg to Whitehaven and the other to St Bees. Viewed from Stanley Breast, an up train of caustic soda liquor tanks (possibly 7F43 Corkickle to Runcorn) are passing the scene behind an unidentified class 25.

All bar the 5 Mercs and one Optare Solo, Arrans fleet is made up of Volvo's. PS 20526 is seen passing Olympian 16864 in Whiting Bay as it heads back to Brodick after completing a round the Island tour.

Passing through Aylesbury town centre is (Y734TGH) a 2001 Plaxton bodied Volvo B7TL that is seen working service 321 from High Wycombe just about to enter Aylesbury bus station to terminate. The bus has recently acquired the new Redline metallic livery and been refitted with white displays. Formally operated by London Central as PVL234.

A reflection on a puddle in the late evening.

On the morning of yesterday, I have overslept a little. The reason is because I watched to midnight a great photos of Flickr at night of the day before.

So, I had to go to the office in a hurry. I returned and took some shots because I had a feeling that I was hailed to this flower. This flower is not bad particularly.

But an excuse got longer.

Ian and Johnny were on their way home and stopped in front of the Hydro Majestic in Fairy Meadows to have a quick Coffee break. All Of a sudden Here comes the Indian Pacific, sadly Ian couldn't get the front engines in time but he did manage to get the carriages passing by. You can just see the Indian Pacific sign on the carriages as they are going by

I shot this when the lady was passing and showed it to her an hour later. She liked it, so I was able to e-mail it to her.

the writing = a exchange of words between me and a friend, silently passing a note across a desk

the picture = self portrait when i got home in the middle of the night

Passing the closed Ryde & Newport Railway station at Ashey on the line to Cowes between Smallbrook Junction and Havenstreet.

The station building was closed in 1953 leaving just a shelter on the opposite platform. The building is now a private dwelling but the line has been relaid by the Isle of Wight Steam Railway and the platform and shelter on the other side have been restored. 01/10/1965 [GB 223].

With a load of 15 containers we see the late running 4E98 passing Torness on the 2nd November 2018.

66095 is working the recently introduced 0619 Mossend - Tees Dock Intermodal on a beautiful but cold morning at 1045. It is running 90 minutes late at this point, with Torness Power Station in the background

She mentioned her boyfriend was out doing a photoshoot for someone so she decided to kick back a bit.
